I got a Synology DS918 with DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 3 and Surveillance Station 9.0.2-10061 with Device Pack 6.0.3-4471.
An existing WansView (ONVIF) Camera is working just fine.
But trying to add a new Reolink E1 Outdoor, is not possible. Trying to Authenticate fails.
Cam can be accessed with iOS App, Browser, Windows App w/o any problem.
      I tried:

      • With Realink and Camera Model
      • With ONVIF using port 8000 (activated in Camera)
      • Several different users with long and short passwords.
      • moved cam to Wlan of the Fritz!Box where Synology is connected so they are in the same network.
      • Same IP Adress works in Browser using https
      • Tried Surveillance Center in Browser and with Windows App.
      • Turned uPnP off and on in Router and E1.

Clicking on Authenticate always states that Camera is not connected.

      Any ideas highly appreciated.
      Regards ... Franz

@fuchsvonanzing_644892326830135 Use a browser to connect to your E1 Outdoor camera (http://E1_Outdoor_IP_Address) then go to Device Settings (upper right corner), then Network settings, then Advanced, then Setup (from Port Settings). then enable RTSP, then enable ONVIF and Save. Now the camera will be detected by the IP Camera app from Surveillance Station as [ONVIF] Brand and E1 Outdoor as model.

i’m very well aware of that suggestion. See 2nd bullet above.
            didn’t help.

Surveillance Center Device Pack 6.0.3, which support Reolink E1 Ourdoor, was withdrawn.
No ETA for a new one.

@fuchsvonanzing_644892326830135 Ok I was wondering why I couldn't find the E1 Outdoor.... Have three of them, so support would be nice.

Hi, there. May l know if have you enabled the HTTP and HTTPS ports? If you did that and it still can not work, please restore it to factory settings, and enter the web to turn on other ports.

                      @reolink-fiona
The reworked Device pack didn’t help.
                      Pinhole reset didn’t work.
Synology Support suggested to try a Lan Connection and that worked just fine - even discovered the camera automatically.

Finally used nmap to find out, that NVIF port 8000 was open when LAN connected:
                      nmap 192.168.178.42
                      Starting Nmap 7.93 at 2023-01-26 13:06 CET

But it isn‘t open when WLAN connected:

                        Problem is solved.
.26 was tied to the wrong device within Synology. (leftover from dual lan connection)
Changed the IP and the Reolink configured nicely.
not just with ONVIF but also with correct Brand and Model.
                        thanks for all the help.
I’m glad I can keep the camera.
                        regards Franz
