New Product Intro 1: TrackMix LTE Plus & Solar Panel Plus - A 24/7 Recording Battery-powered 4G Camera
-
Hi y’all
Most battery-powered cameras are not durable enough for continuous recording due to power consumption. Therefore, we developed this TrackMix LTE Plus - a 24/7 recording battery camera to meet your needs. TrackMix LTE Plus can record continuously for 24 hours without power or WiFi connection, making it ideal for installations where electricity and network are not readily available but continuous recording is required such as construction sites, farms, ranch, ports, railways, and concerts.
TrackMix LTE Plus is a 4MP dual-lens PTZ battery camera with 6X auto-tracking zoom. It not only has a super long battery life but also has great features, like preset point and auto zoom tracking. So far, no other 4G battery cameras support these features.
What’s more about this beast?
Totally wire-free with a 4G/LTE connection and battery power- TrackMix LTE Plus is perfect for places without network and power supply, easy and flexible to install.
Non-stop power from the built-in rechargeable battery & Solar Panel Plus
- With the Solar Panel Plus(65W) & high-capacity battery, this camera enjoys a worry-free battery life.
The built-in heater enables the battery to stay charged in extremely cold weather
- When the ambient temperature is below 3°, the built-in heater will start to work to keep the battery charged through the solar panel.
- Please note that the built-in heater also needs to get power from the solar panel to work.
24/7 Recording: not missing any event
- TrackMix LTE Plus supports pre-motion recording when it’s recording.
Dual Lens covering one wide-angle view and one tracking view
- Equipped with 2 lenses, a telephoto lens & a wide-angle lens, TrackMix LTE Plus can meet the needs to see far and wide at the same time.

@reolink-fiona Es muy interesante este tipo de cámara para localizaciones remotas, vivo cerca de las montañas, y la cobertura suele ser muy pobre
-
@reolink-fiona So far this has been a very impressive overall setup. Highly recommend
-
@reolink-fiona This is the camera I've been waiting for. It seems to have everything I missed on the Go cameras and even the Duo 4G has had this problem. As the cameras are not in a continuous on mode, it sometimes takes too long to activate the camera when, for example, a car drives by. By the time I get the notification, the car has already left. And the biggest downside was in the past that fog or frost would cover the lenses once it got cold and damp. I had already thought about sending this on to the developers, but as it was, there was no chance there would be enough power coming from the batteries. Now, I am intrigued if the "TrackMix LTE Plus" with the new "Solar Panel Plus" overcome these problems. It sounds very interesting. This is what I wanted a long time ago.

@s-stoessler_71959255531 Yeah, l think the 24/7 continuous recording and the built-in heater in the camera will help you overcome these situations a lot.

@reolink-fiona I'm very interested in this. Our Homeowners Association (HOA) would like to put up surveillance cameras throughout our community.. we estimate about 18 cameras. How are the feeds uploaded, to where, and how do we review the captures from each camera?
Would love some more info on this. -
As i mentioned earlier, we have deployed approx 10 Reolink 4G cameras on our properties and there has been a need for 24/7 recordings in some areas. We would like to try this camera and put in for it several months ago, but have heard nothing.

Our COA has used the 4g version of the Reolink cameras for several years and highly recommend them. Because of the motion activation, there are sometimes missed events but the quality of the pictures is great. We have had issues with the solar panels and the seasonal sun move on several of the cameras thus battery dies fast. We have to monitor the cameras at times in the seasons to make sure they are being charged. We have upgraded most of our cameras from the bullet model to the PTZ to get better coverage. We have caught crimes and done the work for the police in several cases from the feed of our cameras. You can't go wrong. With the solar and 4g, you always have coverage even when the electric is out in the neighborhood. We save all to the cloud for better protection of the images captured.

I've been using a combination of Reolink Go cams to monitor large scale construction projects over periods of 2-3 years so I'm very excited to add one of these to my collection. The regular cams are nice and small enough to move around the site and adapt to different phases but having one main camera overlooking the entire site with the larger battery pack will close a huge gap on my site monitoring.Typically we can't monitor real-time and only get timelapse still frames so having 24/7 coverage will be a very welcome feature. We've had several theft and property damage incidents where the cameras caught before and after and left big gaps on what happened in the middle. We have hard wired camera systems on our sites but battery cams serve a very important role by adding coverage in areas not yet serviced and the flexibilty to move around with the project.
I hope the Solar Panel Plus and arm bracket will be available seperate as I'd really like to see this paired with a 4MP Duo cam as well, in both LTE and 5Ghz versions.Reply QuoteShare1- Share this Post

@boyer_36488329729 Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Because there is no battery in the TrackMix LTE Plus and the battery is in the solar panel, the solar panel and the camera need to connect together to use. And the solar panel can't work with other Reolink battery models.
We would release a new 6W solar panel, which is twice the power of the previous solar panels. Stay tuned! -
@boyer_36488329729 "We have hard wired camera systems on our sites but battery cams serve a very important role by adding coverage in areas not yet serviced and the flexibilty to move around with the project." This is what a camera is supposed to do. The image received from the camera seems to be very good. I will be referencing your camera to some of my upcoming projects. Can you share it with me? It's quite impressive.

Looking forward to this one, but fears the price! Hopefully it will work better in the far north of Norway during wintertime. But anyway, I have always been wondering why the battery stops charging on the Reolink Go Pt camera when we get below zero degrees Celsius. I also have weather stations equipped with solar panels and lithium batteries, and they are charging no matter how cold it is.
Best wishes Olav Krogsæter -
We use Reolink 4g cameras now on our propeties and would like to try a 24/7 trackmix camera. When will they be available?
