      I have a RLK16-1200D8-A that has worked great for months while using it on a local point to point internet service (live in a rural area with limited options). While on this service I could stream remotely on any device I had with no issues. About two months ago we made the switch to Starlink which has been a game changer for us and average over quadruple the speeds of our previous service (up and down speeds). The only issue we have had is our POE camera barely stream now even on fluent if I am not on the same network at our NVR. If I’m on the same network it streams perfectly on clear. This happens on my phone (iPhone with up to date app), my laptop (with up to date client). I have had a ticket open with Reolink support with no luck on resolving the issue. Have turned of the decode setting. Have tried static IP for the system. Have bypassed the Starlink router and used our previous router and still have the same streaming issue. Not sure if this is a Reolink issue or a Starlink issue. Any tips are appreciated!

      To add to this situation, I have a Argus PT that works perfectly fine if I’m on my home network or streaming remotely, this is why I can’t decide if it is a Reolink or Starlink issue.

      Searched all over to try and find others with the same issue, but have had no luck there either. Reolink was stumped at the fact the WiFi camera streams great on clear and the POE cameras struggle to stream on fluent.

          @curt_646039735799852 I just activated my Starlink Kit here in the North of Brazil. Unfortunately, I'm facing the exact same problem as you.

          Did you manage to solve it? Thanks

            We have been using multiple cameras on starlink in Australia and 99% of the time have no issue. My understanding is starlink has slower uploads than most providers.
            occassionally we get a streaming issue on which I put down to conjestion at that time. Rest of the time starlink works perfect with Reolink.
            We are using Unifi routers and AP's from the starlink router.

              @big_ted What is the max upload speed and nominal delay on your StarLink? The first member has 12MP cameras and these require at least 15-20 Mbps upload bandwidth. The signal has to reach the satellite and routed back to the mobile/ISP operators and subsequently there is a delay. This might cause some issues in the establishment of communication with the camera. I recall signalling systems C5 and R2 International to communicate via satellites and there used to be extensive delays which sometimes resulted in dropped calls.

                how slow is that?

                will it be more than 20mbps or 10?

                I am considering to go with Starlink to replace the slow 5mbps fixed wireless upload?

                  @ml_812798949916887 5mbps upload..........this is the 90's era :). Consider to have a 4G router. I have 1G/250M on fibre with a 4G redundancy having 180M/60M.

                    normally the starlink is around 200-400mpbs down average around 40mbps up where it is getting used, but that can vary depending on where you are etc.
                    99% of the time no issue with Reolink cams. have around 10 running on the property with no issue 🙂

                      @joseph_1979 yes good ole Aussie fixed wireless. Max speed was reduced to max 10mbps uploads until a rollout of new towers was done to reduce conjestion.

                        @big_ted Thanks for sharing. That's good for satellite Internet. Any jitter and ping timings?

                          @joseph_1979 no works great. My old man games online with no issues with games like battlefield etc
                          Starlink is unlike any other satellite internet and is in a much lower orbit and believe it used satellite meshing between satellites and ground units adn thats how they reduced the ping and increased the speed.

                              @ml_812798949916887 With 10Mbps you just make it. Put your smartphone SIM in the camera and add the apn and check it out.
