The 'stretch view' works just fine for on my Reolink Duo Floodlight POE device, along with all my other 1200V4 and Lumus Pro cameras, when using the internal configuration program of my RLK8 NVR. However, when I'm using the Windows app (latest version, 8.17.6) the Reolink Duo Floodlight POE is the only one that won't 'stretch'. All the other cameras 'live stretch views' work great. When I toggle the 'Stretch View' slider off & on you can literally see all of the rest of the images change except for the one on the Reolink Duo Floodlight POE, which stays in the unstretched mode (with space on the top & bottom of the image). I have done 2 manual (hardware) resets of the camera and that has not helped. It is updated to the latest firmware release, as are all of the cameras and the NVR. Any guesses as to why it's the only one that won't 'stretch' in the Windows app, yet will in the native, built-in config program of the NVR? Oh, and it works just fine in the Apple iPhone app, as well; only in the Windows app will it not function correctly. What gives, I wonder?

@travasaurus_893442009145504 In the Windows app, stretch view is horizontal stretching, not vertical.

@chopstix It works vertically for all the other cameras though, or at least it certainly seems to. Otherwise why would all the other cameras fill up the entire space, save for just the Reolink Duo Floodlight PoE? I've included a couple of screenshots below. The top one is the unstretched version, as you can see by the position of the slider in the System Settings.

@travasaurus_893442009145504 This is so on all clients (Android/Windows.. don't use IOS/MAC) for all dual lens 180 degrees wide cameras. DUO 2, 3 and Argus 4 Pro.

@travasaurus_893442009145504 for single lens cameras, the app's preview window display ratio is wider than the camera's ratio. Thus, single lens cameras fill the window vertically (top/bottom) but not horizontally (side/side). The screech function resolves this by horizontally (side/side) stretching every cameras preview to match the preview display ratio.

Since the 180-degree cameras (two lenses) have a wider horizontal display than the preview window, there is nothing to stretch as it already fills the full width of the preview thus giving a letterbox preview. As I said, the stretch feature only stretches horizontally (side/side), not vertically.

I do not know why they did not code the Windows app to also stretch vertically (up/down). Perhaps Reolink felt that the distortion of the image was too much for a 180-degree FOV. Or perhaps they felt that is was a non-issue. Image Zoom (like they did on 4:3 televisions playing 16:9 content to eliminate the letterbox) would not work well as image zoom would eliminate the letterbox but you would loose the sides of the content. To do a zoom in this application would defeat the purpose of preview monitoring a 180-degree camera since you would not see then entire FOV.

If it's something that you really want, you can send an email to Reolink Support as a feature request. If there is enough demand, they may consider adding it.
