It seems that the Home Hub restarts at 2am on Sunday mornings.
Is there a way to disable this or change the time? When it reboots - sometimes my Battery Doorbell does not reconnect until something external triggers it (e.g. motion detection) - meaning I cannot access a Live view until it reconnects.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@weiliang Yes you can. Just disable auto reboot as illustrated below. Use Windows client. I do not have this issue. However, I am using my WIFI network.

@joseph_1979 I have run into this as well, fortunately we get a good amount of wildlife running across the far edge of the FOV so it has not been an issue. I was actually surprised when I saw the scheduled reboot option... why? Why does it need to reboot? Memory leak? Reminds me of Windows NT 3.51 Server back in the day.
Anyhow, I can't imagine that Reolink is not aware of this. It would be nice if they gave an option NOT to reboot the Wi-Fi processor.

(Just my two cents.....) People are SO accustomed to having the option to force reboots on a regular schedule (daily, weekly, etc.) that companies like Reolink catch a lot of flak if they do not offer the feature. I have kept computers, WiFi routers, etc. on for as much as six months with no ill effects. Most "Internet of Things" gizmos do not offer the feature (smart plugs, smart light bulbs, door locks, television sets, etc.)

@crimp-on_62210811129 if your software is robust and well tested then there is no need of an auto reboot.

Ok thanks. I've disabled 2am reboot and will see how it goes
Next question - why does the phone App and the Windows Client have different feature sets?
Another example : on Android app - can individuall turn on/off the 2G and 5G Wifi, and specify which channel. But not on the Windows client.
Reolink Home Hub - reboots at 2am
