      So there is a lot of buzz around a new PoE camera, and here’s a sneak peek of it (alongside with a WiFi version) that are on display at Reolink CES 2025 on a low profile. More details will be announced in the near future, stay tuned!

          @reolink-oskar Yeah, a poe Argus 4 Pro.

          A remark on the mounting. The mounting is similar to RLC-511WA, RLC-811WA, etc and it can easily be pushed downwards. Not tight at all. It has to be locked.

            @reolink-oskar I wonder if Reolink plans to integrate more advanced AI facial or object recognition technology in this new camera line? Because with modern surveillance needs, smart AI is an important criterion for users to decide to buy.

              @reolink-oskar

              Low Profile 180 cam that cost just as much as the current line of POE 180 cams? The 1st POE Color X 180, I bet.

              I hope it has more features. Not even advance features, but regular features. Reolink a few steps behind in the feature set in the affordable camera game.

                  @joseph_1979 I have the same problem with the RLC-811WA – the mount is not very secure and can easily move if not locked properly. Have you tried using additional screws or rubber pads to increase the grip?

                    @user_616377605799979_616377605799979 Yesterday I have removed the RLC-811WA to do some plastering and checked how the mounting has been made. I realized that when you turn the lock with the Allen key, it presses against the ball end and subsequently keeps it from moving. But the trick is that you first secure the plate against the wall and then turn the lock, preferably with a better Allen key. Now it is quite secured and one can hang a bucket (empty :).
