The latest firmware posted on website August 11, 2024 made the image wash out.
I accidentally fixed my washed out image by going into display-->brightness and shadows--> turning all options off and back on again. Rebooted and it stayed fixed, but as soon as it changed from daytime colour to night time colour the washout came back. Fixed it again by turning off default brightness and shadows-- for nighttime colour. But it won't stay fixed on the new firmware.I even selected reset settings when I installed the new firmware. I was able to fix my image issues by rolling back to the previous version.I have reported my finding to support.
same issue with TrackMix PoE
Same problem, firmware IPC_529SD78MP.3748_2408062147.Reolink-TrackMix-PoE.IMX415.8MP.PT.REOLINK
I have the same issue!Cannot even downgrade the firmware now as the support page has removed searching for the TrackMix camera for any support or firmware downloads??

Same thing with the v3.0.0.3748_2408152331 (dated 15.8). Tweaking display settings your options seem to be either with very low brightness plus some inadequate shadow tweaking or clipped whites. My cameras, which are monitoring a white and a pale yellow building, currently look terrible with the latest firmware. My old 511w does task so much better
The latest firmware, which was posted on the website on August 11, 2024, and now showing August 15, 2024, has significantly impacted my experience. I strongly advise against updating as it has caused more harm than good. The color of the #1 Trackmix camera is washed out, and no amount of tweaking has been able to correct this problem. The other Trackmix is DOA, failing to connect to the Reolink client on Windows 11, iPhone, Android app, or the NVR. The WI-Fi signal shows 1 bar on both cameras compared to full bars before the update. I would strongly advise against utilizing the new update. Also, I must bring to your attention that the customer service experience has been less than satisfactory.
The administrator stated on this tread that the latest firmware ought to fixed the issue and if there’s a problem want us to contact them with a snapshot. There’s already a snapshot presented by the other user. That’s more than enough. People who update to the latest version will come here and complain. If this is their answer of fixed, I would like to get the old firmware from last year or give us refund. My camera can’t function the way they were design to do due to poor color and connection. The latest firmware ruin the function and my experience of this camera.
I was informed that the new firmware was more natural than previous firmware where they think the previous was over saturated and made a correction. I guess wash out is the new normal going forward of future firmware for this device.
Just tried v3.0.0.3748_2408152331 (Aug 15, 2024 version) and the washout issue seems to be resolved for me.
