When is Reolink planning on updating the firmware for C1-Pro build version (IPC_513)??? When I purchased these cameras I was under the impression, as stated on your website, that they would be able to stream and record video at 30fps using the NTSC video standard. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case with the current build version. So, in essence, I was sold a lesser product and never informed of the difference.

Reolink the ball is in your court when will this be fixed?

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience and yes, we'll release the new firmware to solve the issue next month.

I have the same camera and the recordings are only 12 fps even though I have it set to 30 fps. Is this the reason why? Not happy with my purchase if it is.

Hi, it is normal, the Reolink cameras will automatically drop the FPS to 12 during the night time to ensure enough exposure time so that you will have a bright image. If you have more questions, please feel free to contact https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. Have a nice day!

Hello guys. When will be this camera updated because i just buy 2 pieces and from Amazon description the camera must have 30 fps but on camera menu i don't see more then 25 fps.

                    Carl/Reolink -

When will the new firmware be available? In December, you stated it would be available "next month". Well, it is now "next month" and there has been no update to the firmware. Clearly, you still have not updated your website to reflect that the new build versions (IPC 51316M) do not support 30fps streaming or recording. To purposefully deceive your customers is 100% unacceptable. I will be reporting Reolink to the US Federal Trade Commission for false advertisement and fraud.

If the firmware is not released untill the end of the month i will do same like you trey and report Reolink to Bundesamt in Germany. Also i will complain to Amazon and i will talk also with a lawyer about this!
You guys sell an item who had a fake description and we buy it because of that.Is this normal?

I just received my C1-Pro! I experienced WiFi drops and tried to upgrade the firmware that is for download on your download center for the C1-Pro... when I try to upgrade (don't know if my firmware currently running on the camera is newer) I get "failed to recognize upgrade file"?

                        Camera firmware version is:
                        v2.0.0.245_18111010

                        trying to upgrade to:
                        C1 Pro 1389_18081405 IPC_3816MPT

Any feedback on this? I see that there have been firmware upgrade issues from my predecessors...

The C1 pro that you have has a different hardware version so you can not use the firmware 1389_18081405.

Thanks for the feedback @Reuven Goldenberg. Would have been nice if Reolink would have pointed this out, before I download and try my luck on upgrading firmware that says C1 Pro but that is not for my hardware version... I did not even know that there are different hardware versions out there... is there a firmware update to my hardware version by chance?

Reolink apparently updated the hardware build somewhere around October of 2018. I only know this because I purchased my initial set of C1 Pros in September of 2018. Then, the next set in November of 2018 and that's when I learned, through contacting Reolink, that they changed the build version without reflecting this change on any of their marketing or technical materials. I've been in contact with Reolink and they've offered a partial refund and promise the firmware to fix this issue will now be released in late February. Although, they originally promised that it'd be released in late January when I first contacted them. So take it for what it's worth from a company that didn't take the time to update their website.

I've already filed a complaint with the FTC regarding their lack of disclosure. If you're in the states I recommend you do the same or with whoever the governing body of commerce may be where you are located.

                                Hi guys ,

I have an answer from support. They say a firmware update will be released in the next 2 months. This mean untill March the firmware need to be released.I hope this to don't be just words and i hope they will do something to release it faster.
I also encounter wifi disconnects and slow speeds on 5ghz band ... don't even support 8192 bitrate ... if i let the camera on 1080p with 8192 i have no chanse to record something.I use like NVR my synology station. Also on ethernet very weak performance ...
Hope they will fix this in future firmware updates!

Hey Barbu - Yeah Reolink first told me December, then January, then February, and you're saying March. Reolink is dragging their collective @$$ getting this out. I purchased my camera's in November of 2018 and no point did they state that the new cameras would have a different hardware build than the ones I purchased a month earlier. They are still advertising that the cameras can support 30fps NTSC on the website. They still have not updated the specs sheet meaning they are knowingly misstating the technical parameters of their products to consumers.

I successfully managed to install W10, new Reolink client and add all cameras. slope unblocked

On this new client, is there really no pause button on playback? And what does "advanced frame by frame" mean? I clicked it, the video stopped and I don't know how to play it again.
