Hi, so I have 8 Argus Eco’s on solar and they work great. I have them scheduled off during the day as I’m home a lot. Is there a way I can enable them easily if I go out? I’ve tried setting up an all on mode but it doesn’t override the schedule. If it did then just defaulted back to schedule at the next time, that would be perfect. I really don’t want to have to go through the schedule menu to enable/disable every time I go out.
@infxus_526718381043955 You can try to use the scene mode to set the home/away mode. When you slip down the device homepage on the APP, you can see the settings. @reolink-fiona thank you but the Scene mode doesn’t appear to over ride the Scheduled off. Should it because that work be perfect?
I was looking for the same thing and found this thread.I think what they are saying is to leave the schedule "always on", and just use scenes to activate/deactivate (correct me if wrong).It would be quite useful to have the possibility to ignore the schedule completely and have push or recording on/off independently.Arlo do that for instance with their cameras where you can set mode as always on (Armed), always off (Disarmed), or as per Schedule.
@seb_526812765704330 Your suggestion of using just the scene mode is really counterintuitive to the whole schedule option. I don’t want to have to turn the cameras on and off every day hence why they have the schedule option. I want the schedule to happily do it’s thing and I just want to easily override the schedule when I go out. Can’t be that hard and I’m very surprised others aren’t wanting this as well. If they just made the scene mode override the current schedule, that would be perfect. I could set an all on when I go out and it simply defaults back to the schedule at the next event.
@infxus_526718381043955 I totally agree with you, it's not "my solution", it's what I understand Reolink support is telling you, but I may be wrong.
