Is there a documented list of available cgi-bin functions, such as the snapshot?I would like to be able to:reboot the cameraturn LEDs on/offcontrol PTZset indoor/outdooretc.FOSCAM has a rich set of CGI-bin controls, hoping REOLINK does as well.
Yes, our CGI is under testing now. Will be released when it is done. However, LEDs cannot be turned off by software. Which also need some changes for the hardware.
Are the list of CGI commands available now? (since the new firmware is released and CGI is listed in the changelog)
Dear Joshua,After upgraded the firmware, pls use below URL to get the snapshot:http://(ip address)/cgi-bin/api.cgi?cmd=Snap&channel=0&rs=(any combination of numbers and letters)&user=(user name)&password=(user password)Note: Pls replace the ()part to be your camera info. Every time you refresh the website it will snap a new picture. For more info about CGI file, pls contact us by support@reolink.com
I tried your link above and I get the following error:403 ForbiddenI'm running firmware 806_16060603 firmware on a RLC-410WS
Hello, Buzzatronic,The CGI command above will only work with the latest firmware, please upgrade your camera to the latest version 1168_16070803. You may download it by referring to our Firmware Download page.
Thanks, that worked. 4 Updated cameras and now I have the CGI URL working for snapshots on my security dashboard tablets in my house.
Thanks very much for your valuable reply. And we're very glad to know that it is working now.Have a nice day!
Sadly my "it works" message lasted only a few hours. Now all of my cameras are returning an error. Going to them from my browser results in a number of errors. Two of my cameras fail with "502 Bad Gateway - nginx/1.6.2" and the third simply shows " Second camera shows "[ { "cmd" : "Snap", "code" : 1, "error" : { "detail" : "set config failed", "rspCode" : -13 } } ]"Only 1 of the 4 cameras still works with this URL system.
Now the 4th camera is also returning "502 Bad Gateway - nginx/1.6.2"
Any update on this? These commands don't work for more than an hour or two for me which makes them pretty much unusable for my scenario.
any update? anything at all? it should be pretty easy to list out all the available cgi commands. not all of us have windows, so the provided exe is not helpful. i'd like to be able to administer the reolink camera without the hassle of windows. is there any documentation on how to interact with the following ports:5546001800019359000Even bare-bones documentation would be helpful.thanks!
Hello support, can you please share all cgi commands ?thxroland
Do you have a list of CGI commands? I have the snap one working but would like some others? Like maybe Live Feed and Zoom?
This is just sad... Terrible show of "support" from Reolink.
If you do a FAQ search, you will get plenty of info there.I have also read through some Amazon.com reviews that provides feedback on this as well.Just do some search.
I have unfortunately also the error "502 Bad Gateway" after a restart of the camera it functions again. unfortunately not long, (sometimes 1 hour) then the same error is again there. I already had contact with reolink by email. I was told that it is a bug in the firmware. it should be fixed in the next version. unfortunately I have not much hope after I have read here in the forum.
Since it doesn't seem that Reolink is going to provide any documentation, I've started documenting some of the API that I could find via ethernet sniffing the http web client on an RLC-410-5MP. Please have a look at the following thread.https://reolink.com/topic/api-discovery-and-documentationn/
