The support gave me the newest (beta?) firmware for my nine E1 Outdoor cams? [v3.1.0.956_22041506]
They told me that there are different hardware versions.Ich can only see "IPC_523SD8"
I updated all cams without any problems.
Where can I see the different hardware version? e.g. E1 Zoom has two different ones:- IPC_515BSD6
- IPC_515SD6

@lbs2reolink You can find out the system information on your APP device information. You can just click the top banner in the APP setting. Here is an instruction, https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004894193-How-to-Find-out-System-Information-via-Reolink-App.
After checking the hardware version, you can compare it with the hardware version the support offer you when they send you the firmware. -
@reolink-fiona Thanks for the support, but I would like to know if there are other types than "IPC_523SD8" and if so what are they called.
-
@reolink-fiona Please include the latest firmware of E1 outdoor in the download centre. Even though there are different hw versions, just add them. How can I know which is the latest version of my E1 outdoor?
-
@reolink-fiona And kindly let us know the resolution, vit rate and fps when the display mode 'med' is selected.

@reolink-fiona
Where can i ask/download the latest firmware for the E1 Outdoor.
It says Hardware No is IPC_523SD8
firmware version loaded is: v3.1.0.989 22081906
thanks in advance for your support -
@geowicht_675740236640515 The newest is v3.1.0.1643_23041100. So email reolink support citing your fw and hw version.

After reading this I asked for the latest firmware for the E1 Outdoor (IPC_523SD8) and they gave me v3.1.0.804_22012406. Not complaining though as it has the beta pet detection in it, which when it came out and I asked they said it would not come to the 5mp cameras as it was not possible.
Testing the pet detection it works really well and I also have it tracking so I can see which of my neighbours cats is crapping in my garden.
As for the E1 Outdoor missing on the firmware page its annoying and and also a bit annoying we have to keep asking for it. As a suggestion to Reolink, could you put all the firmware up on your website, just have the hardware number indicated and have a disclaimer that if we are doing it to check properly and its at our own risk or something? Another suggestion, could you have another section listed with current beta releases for download so that we can get it if we want and test it? -
Hi Joseph, is this link for IPC_523SD8.1643_23041100 valid for all 523SD8 hardware No? Or, are there some differences else? I wish only update my old IPC_523SD8 v3.1.0.989_22071306.

@vladosk_604441546297359 So here is a description.
IPC_523SD8 is the hw version
1643 is the fw generation number
23041100 Is the date (11/04/2023) when the fw was compiled.
But Reolink don't include this camera in the download center due to the fact that there are various variants of this model. So I suggest you to email support quoting your full hw version.
v3.1.0.956 for E1 Outdoor?
