TrackMix New Firmware Update: Auto-Tracking Range & Tracking Schedule
I have installed 8.7.3 and my PTZ does not look like the image in the screenshot, I do not have the speed function, do button in the middle of the arrows and I can not see how to enable patrols. My camera is the E1 Outdoor.
@reolink-fiona Thank you, the time is displayed correctly on both cameras.I will try a different sync server to see if that makes a difference.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Can you, I didn't think / haven't found a way of having different schedules for each detection type. You can only set the schedule and then tick which detection type you want.
It would be nice to have pet detection in your other cameras. Posts on here and when I query it I am told by Reolink that only your 8mp cameras have / will have the pet detection.I have an E1 Outdoor (5mp), I was sent a firmware that has pet detection and it works really well. I asked for the latest firmware to see what was new and the pet detection has been removed. When I asked why I get the same response, we don't do pet detection for cameras other than the 8mp, which is clearly wrong as I was sent it for my E1 Outdoor. So not sure why they insist they won't or that they haven't.
It would be nice to be able to choose the type of detection based on time, i.e during the day person detection and during the night any motion. This could be by a simple colour which could quadrant if you have more than one colour selected for a square.Similar to above it would also be handy to be able to choose different areas for different alerts, red any motion, blue people, green cars, etc. If you want them to overlap you could.
I have also noticed this with the RLC-510WA on the latest firmware - v220.127.116.114_21121712. Before updating the firmware I was able to access it through a browser, not sure if any other camera models also do this certificate error. (My E1 Outdoor on the latest firmware v18.104.22.1684_22012406 I can still access through a browser).
I have set up the camera so that it e-mails me with any motion late at night and it works. But quite often the clip is so short (seems limited to 1Mb only) that it misses what is about to happen.I did then look to see what was recorded in playback but nothing is there. I have looked at the settings again, my camera is set to record people 24/7 but not motion otherwise it would fill up the SD card pretty quick. Is there a way of setting to record different things at different times? i.e if I want to have motion between 00:00 and 06:00 and then people from 06:01 to 23:59? If there isn't can this be added, either by some sort of colour coding in the schedule or when you set the times in the day set that to what you want, motion, people, cars, pets as it would be helpful.
After reading this I asked for the latest firmware for the E1 Outdoor (IPC_523SD8) and they gave me v22.214.171.1244_22012406. Not complaining though as it has the beta pet detection in it, which when it came out and I asked they said it would not come to the 5mp cameras as it was not possible.Testing the pet detection it works really well and I also have it tracking so I can see which of my neighbours cats is crapping in my garden. As for the E1 Outdoor missing on the firmware page its annoying and and also a bit annoying we have to keep asking for it. As a suggestion to Reolink, could you put all the firmware up on your website, just have the hardware number indicated and have a disclaimer that if we are doing it to check properly and its at our own risk or something? Another suggestion, could you have another section listed with current beta releases for download so that we can get it if we want and test it?
@reolink-fiona Do you know if the Engineer's have made any progress on this, its frustrating not being able to click on the notifications to see them. I believe it is to do with the hour difference and how it is trying to retrieve the files.
I am using android, my app is the latest available 126.96.36.199.Tested it again, will try my best to explain.I had two push notifications, one 1 hour old and one 30 minutes old. I clicked on the one that was 1 hour old and it showed me the 30 minutes one, when I click on the 30 minutes one it shows me the live stream. I am not sure how push notifications go out and are accessed off the camera, my app / phone and camera are synced and show the same time. I am assuming when it tried to access the push notification / information that it is basing it based on the older time and not the current daylight saving time (Great Britain).
