Reolink Go Plus 4G stops communicating overnight

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with a Reolink Go Plus 4G camera that I just purchased. I am able to setup, connect to 4G and everything works perfectly. However, after an overnight, the next morning the camera will not connect and will not communicate again. The battery charge is >80%, SIM card still active + plenty of data and full 4G coverage.

I have taken the battery out of the camera, reinserted and everything is back to normal on the camera again....until the next night the same thing happens again. The camera is at a remote location, so I have to travel back to the site which isn't ideal.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

@recranked_590369483829285 May I know your country and your SIM card service provider? You can check if the provider is on our recommended SIM card list. https://reolink.com/product/reolink-go/?jumpId=product-carrier-table#specifications

I would reflash the firmware, even if it's the same version. When you check, manually check the version you have against the latest version they list. I don't know if yours has a button to click to check but it doesn't work on my mine. It always says it's the latest version so I manually check.

I have the exact same issue like you described with my ReoLink GO Plus Camera.

Overnight the camera stops working and I need to remove the battery the next morning, reinsert it and it works again!

My 4G mobile provider is MINT which is recommended by Reolink in the USA.

@bart_615084702298143 I think that there is an IMSI detach after the session timer expires and the session is not re-established or if established the camera is not sending messages to Reolink P2P server to update the new IP (if changed during the new session re-establishment). Normally Mobile operators terminate the data session after 12 hours. Smartphones then re-establish the session once there is an IMSI attach. This has to be captured at the Reolink side so try to email support.

If you are storing the recording on SD, please check that you still have the recording.
