@reolink-fiona ive ran new ethernet cable under the house and setup POE ready to go to test mine. Will be a great addition to the Reolink family...
Review Trackmix LTE Plus So I have been lucky enough to test out the new Reolink Trackmix LTE Plus camera. Photos and links to some clips are below. I have been provided with a test unit with no financial benefit other than writing a review of how I have found it. Build Quality:This set appears to be made very well. Everything went together without any issues. The solar panel and bracket are made to a high standard and all arrive packaged very well. The solar panel mounting bracket and arm are very heavy duty, possibly an overkill but doesn’t impede operation at all. You will need a solid mounting point for this setup as it does weigh a decent amount (package was around 15kg total). The movement of the PTZ works well as does the motion detection. Camera was used in an area with excellent 4g signal and there was a slight delay in movement from client. I found that setting a few way points was a better option and was smoother than trying to manually move the camera.Recording: recording quality is at a level that I would expect for a camera like this. Certainly not movie quality, but it is designed for operation where normal wifi connection is not available. The zoom works well, even at night. Ive used the camera where there is a long distance to cover and I have no issues. The dual lenses worked well and is fantastic to be able to zoom in a fairly long distance.Battery:So far we have not had any issues with battery levels dropping. The panel keeps the battery at 100% all day and have only had it down into mid 90% during the night time. Time will tell with a week or 2 of constant cloud and rain, but I still don’t think will have any issues. Conclusion:So far this is the best 4g battery camera I have used. I don’t see any issues with battery and build quality exceeded what I would have expected for this type of camera. The included tool kit was also a nice touch. Only complaint is the sheer size, which really is not an issue and hoping that there is future software updates to improve some of the response to moving the camera, other than that I do highly recommend.
This has been asked many times and still needs to be asked again. Can Reolink please put in a process for the firmware update/download page to be update with the latest firmwares (and preferably previous versions)as this is creating massive confusion as to what the latest versions are. Ive got cameras that have been updated 2 or 3 times via updates beingemailed on request and the versions differ drastically to what is on the site. This would also save many of the customer complaints on all media platforms.I have also send this request into support numerous times too.

@reolink-fiona Things I would love to see, although I think Reolink is going in the right direction1) Standalone Infrared light that could be used alongside cameras.2) A large image sensor version of the 811A cameras, that has improved image quality and clarity. Something with very high image detail3) software improvements for app/client effeciency and software/firmware update via app/client
@joseph_1979 I believe the standard RLC-511W is limited to 128gb, and the WA is 256gb. https://reolink.com/files/docs/specs/RLC-511W-IP-Camera-Specifications.pdf
@reolink-lorenz This is an excellent step forward in improving customer service.
Horay, my Reolink Video doorbell Poe has arrived. Havent had a chance to install and get up and running yet, but have opened and checked it out.See photos below.
@curlsif your client and camera firmware are up to date you should have these options.
@reolink-fiona Updated and so far running well.
Have just setup a new E1 indoor camera. From unboxing to fully setup was less than a few minutes. Just open the app, select add camera and scan the qr code. Literally connected straight to wifi, no hassle. Windows client auto recognised the device on the network and just needed the correct username and password to connect. Will do some video tests to see how it performs with animals running around the house.Photos from unboxing below.
@newt89_621533770530900 smaller file would be fluent (low quality) and the larger file would be clear (higher quality) recordings
@reolink-fiona Is it possible for a link to be attached for a manual android app download for those who dont use the play store?the website still only lists v4.28.08
@email_525317533946102 is your repeater broadcasting a secondary wifi or does your devices only see 1 network in total. It is common if there is a slight different in password or network name that it is still trying to connect to the main routerinstead or the extender. Depending how it is setup can be worth trying to turn the main router off and see if the camera will then connect to the extender.
A few more photos of getting it setup.
Update just landed in Australia today
@reolink-fiona Can say that for anyone looking for a versatile battery camera, this one is fantastic. I have positioned in a high traffic area of cars, people and dogs and have had no issueswith battery life from the supplied panel.highly recommend to anyone!!!
@nomahisssss_477125106348271 I believe this has been used in some marketing materials to date, so I think it is something coming soon.
@reolink-fiona Have updated and so far working well Also updated the new client v8.8.2
@email_525317533946102 is your DSL router broadcasting 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz signals either together or separate?if they are joined together some devices wont auto reconnect and separating the 2 networks can resolve this issue.Im using the RLC-510w and live in a rural area where always get power and internet outages. I have never had a reconnect issue since ive separated my wifi networks on any reolink camera or other devices.
