+1 for this feature! ( Owner of a nvr 36 + 8x RLC811A, 1x 1212A, 1x Duo 2)
Re: Multiple detection zones? We really need multiple detection zones. One for triggering alarms and one for just recording ai events, at least. Discuss. Thanks
+1 for proper Home Assistant integration. I'm waiting to buy an NVR with 12 poe cameras
I know it's a niche request, but it could be great if we can setup two different detection areas. One just for trigger the recording events of people, pets, etc, and one another to trigger the alarm.
@reolink-fiona this kind of alarm is useful when someone would move the camera. So if a thief reorient a camera, an alarm is triggered. If you increase the delay, this kind of alarm would not function anymore. I think this should be fixed via firmware. The camera knows when it turn on or off the ir leds, so the software could not take in consideration that temporal frame and do not turn alarm on in those cases.
This is crazy. It still happens. I just bought another Reolink cam and the switch between day and night mode triggers a motion event. This is ridiculous. There should be a built-in feature in the camera where, during the transition frames, the comparison buffer used for motion detection gets flushed and reinitialized with the first clean frame of the new mode — either night or day depending on the time.Seriously, you can’t just tell people to disable motion detection. Your motion detection algorithm isn't integrated with the camera’s internal logic. It’s the camera that decides when to switch between day and night mode, so the camera should also reset the detection at that moment.I honestly don’t understand how this is still an issue with Reolink cameras in 2025.
