After updating the NVR's Firmware I'm having problems viewing the cameras away from the home network. I also can't view the clear stream on home network but can view fluent and balanced fine on the latest Android app. But on the windows client I can view the clear stream just fine.
@reocam_448003255267488 I know what you're saying but if you're only watching one camera click on the 3 dots in the top right corner and click on channel selection and see how many cameras are selected, bet it's more than 1.
Love the new option to set horizonal set points and appreciate the updates. We really need the option to also set vertical points because the lights reflect off the ceiling and wash the image out at night. Hopefully this could be implemented in the next firmware update. Thanks.
@reocam_448003255267488 I have found that when watching one camera and the video playback is choppy i click on the 3 dots in the top right corner and then click on channel selection a lot of cameras are selected instead of just the one I'm currently watching. And if I uncheck all but the one I want to watch then go back the video playback is smoother. It seems to be the issue and I wish when you selected one camera and not 4 to watch it would automatically deselect all other cameras but it currently doesn't do that. So that seems to be the main problem with playback in my opinion.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Now my cameras have reverted the time back and I'm receiving notifications even though the sliders still keep changing. I'm afraid to sync the time to my phone though and lose notifications again. I guess I'll just deal with the incorrect time for now and try to remember it's only 10:20 and not 11:20 cause it sure beats the alternative.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 on the NVR and Windows Client the sliders are set correct. On Android they change after being set and saved and I receive no Push Notification on my phone letting me know there's motion. I mainly use my phone for notifications because I work full-time and can't be on my computer all day.
Android App Notifications haven't been working for 2 days now on 3 different Android phones. The sensitivity sliders keep changing on their own. I've deleted and reinstalled the app and tried everything. Apparently an update broke something and we need a hot fix ASAP. Reolink rep said they are aware of the bug and will be fixed with next update but no ETA so dead in the water until whenever.
@reolink-fiona Thank You.
@curls Also need the option to swipe away notifications in app while viewing a cameras live stream. The ability to snooze notifications on a per camera base.
@reolink-fiona Can I just use the DC power cable on the WIFI version without the need for an ethernet cable? Because if I need an ethernet cable I might as well just get the Poe version.
@reolink-fiona Rich push notifications would be great. Motion tagging so we can identify what the camera thinks is motion. And the ability to link cameras together. As an example I have 3 cameras in my yard and they're set to turn on the spotlight when motion is detected, but it would be nice if they all came on when one detected motion. And the ability to set the time they stay on when activated instead of 30 seconds maybe 1-5 minutes and longer depending.
@reolink-fiona On my 8 channel 4K NVR I can click on the Reolink Duo 2 4K camera preview and click the icon to extend the camera across 2 preview Windows within the 9 window camera preview setting. I'd like to be able to do the same on the windows client and Android app. On windows and the NVR you can use the mouse to click on a camera preview and move it to a different channel window. I'd like to be able to do this on Android using a long press on the camera preview.
I would like to request a feature on the windows client and Android app. I would like to be able to stretch the Reolink Duo 2 4K across 2 camera preview Windows like it does on the NVR. Also the ability to long press on a camera preview on Android and move it to a different panel.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 No issue on low resolution. I'm using a AX6600 WiFi 6 router and I was using Cloudflare DNS and getting much higher ping and slower WiFi speed. I switched back to my ISP DNS and it improved, but they say anything under 50 is good. What DNS are you using if you don't mind me asking?
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Update. It seems that by enabling hardware decoding in the settings menu it fixed the issue I was having.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 I have 2 (RLC-811A) 1 (DUO 2 4K) 1 (TRACKMIX POE) 2 (RLC-824A) & 1 (RLN8-410 NVR) All with latest firmware.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Even if I hit channel selection and uncheck everything but one camera and try and watch it on clear I still get lag where the video freezes then starts again. I've rebooted the NVR and router. I just don't understand.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 I have a AX6600 WiFi 6 Tri Band Router with gigabit internet and only 8 devices connected to WiFi and 6 of those devices are smart bulbs and switches. I'm on the same network as the cameras and even if I select one channel and view it I still get lag where the sound and video cut out. But like I said wired watching on the windows app or NVR I have no issues.
