After reading this I asked for the latest firmware for the E1 Outdoor (IPC_523SD8) and they gave me v3.1.0.804_22012406. Not complaining though as it has the beta pet detection in it, which when it came out and I asked they said it would not come to the 5mp cameras as it was not possible.Testing the pet detection it works really well and I also have it tracking so I can see which of my neighbours cats is crapping in my garden. As for the E1 Outdoor missing on the firmware page its annoying and and also a bit annoying we have to keep asking for it. As a suggestion to Reolink, could you put all the firmware up on your website, just have the hardware number indicated and have a disclaimer that if we are doing it to check properly and its at our own risk or something? Another suggestion, could you have another section listed with current beta releases for download so that we can get it if we want and test it?
I have seen other cameras that use a detection if something crosses a line, rather than the greying out an area. Is this something that reolink could implement?Trying to grey about a boundary but still get early notifications is difficult. A crossing of a line would be really useful when marking out boundaries.
I have installed 8.7.3 and my PTZ does not look like the image in the screenshot, I do not have the speed function, do button in the middle of the arrows and I can not see how to enable patrols. My camera is the E1 Outdoor.
@reolink-fiona Thank you, the time is displayed correctly on both cameras.I will try a different sync server to see if that makes a difference.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have person detection during the day and any motion at night? From what I am see / work out you can't.
Amazing, every time I suggest it or ask for the pet detection I get told that the E1 range can't do it and won't do it because its only 5mp .Have even said that I was sent a test firmware that had it in and was told no!
I have also noticed this with the RLC-510WA on the latest firmware - v3.1.0.764_21121712. Before updating the firmware I was able to access it through a browser, not sure if any other camera models also do this certificate error. (My E1 Outdoor on the latest firmware v3.1.0.804_22012406 I can still access through a browser).
