After reading this I asked for the latest firmware for the E1 Outdoor (IPC_523SD8) and they gave me v3.1.0.804_22012406. Not complaining though as it has the beta pet detection in it, which when it came out and I asked they said it would not come to the 5mp cameras as it was not possible.Testing the pet detection it works really well and I also have it tracking so I can see which of my neighbours cats is crapping in my garden. As for the E1 Outdoor missing on the firmware page its annoying and and also a bit annoying we have to keep asking for it. As a suggestion to Reolink, could you put all the firmware up on your website, just have the hardware number indicated and have a disclaimer that if we are doing it to check properly and its at our own risk or something? Another suggestion, could you have another section listed with current beta releases for download so that we can get it if we want and test it?
I have installed 8.7.3 and my PTZ does not look like the image in the screenshot, I do not have the speed function, do button in the middle of the arrows and I can not see how to enable patrols. My camera is the E1 Outdoor.
@reolink-fiona Do you know if the Engineer's have made any progress on this, its frustrating not being able to click on the notifications to see them. I believe it is to do with the hour difference and how it is trying to retrieve the files.
@reolink-fiona Thank you, the time is displayed correctly on both cameras.I will try a different sync server to see if that makes a difference.
I am using android, my app is the latest available 4.29.0.8.Tested it again, will try my best to explain.I had two push notifications, one 1 hour old and one 30 minutes old. I clicked on the one that was 1 hour old and it showed me the 30 minutes one, when I click on the 30 minutes one it shows me the live stream. I am not sure how push notifications go out and are accessed off the camera, my app / phone and camera are synced and show the same time. I am assuming when it tried to access the push notification / information that it is basing it based on the older time and not the current daylight saving time (Great Britain).
@reolink-fiona On checking it this morning, the 5 notifications that I have over the night (one 6 hours, two at 4 hours, one at 3 hours and one at an hour ago), they all the pushes took me to the one that accured an 1 hour ago. I think depending on their age, I seem to either only get the latest played again and again no matter which push notification I get, or if they are new that 3 hours I seem to just get the live stream.
@neil_chaplin_is_450076909830276 Hi there, for the push notification, if you click the push in 2 mins, it will take you to the live view.If you click the push after 2 mins, it will take you to the playback page. The logic is that when you click the push in a short time, you can know what happens in real-time. After a long time, you can know what happened just now.
Thank you for the response. I am checking the push notifications over wifi after a couple of hours, it just loads the live stream.
HiThe daylight saving time changing on Sunday 27th (UK) worked this year. However, when I get a push notification on my phone and click on it just takes me to the live view and does not playback what it picked up. Is this a server error again, has it been reported or known about?
Will this be coming to the E1 Outdoor? Please could you also let me know why the E1 Outdoor has been removed from the firmware page on the Reolink website?
@reolink-fiona Will this be changed in the future, prefered it the old way that you had the clear stream.I bought better cameras to have the clear and now I have to manually select it each time. It would make more sense to be able to choose what you want and save it, if playback isn't smooth you can change it to something else.
I have been using the new 8.7 since it was announced. When you have four cameras visible in full screen mode (or just when the app initially starts) the view of the cameras is fluent (which you can change if you want). When you double click on a camera it takes the view to full size an increases resolution to standard.I am sure in the older version it went to clear when you made the camera full screen which I preferred. Again, I note that you can change the resolution, but you have to do this every time which is a little annoying. My feature request would to be for the client to save what you set each view to be, fluent, standard or clear when small and the same again when it is enlarged.I also note that there is a missing button in the client compared to android app, under "Surveillance" push doesn't have an enable button / slider like the record, e-mail do
Thank you for responding, my E1 Outdoor is set to auto update, it has not updated and if I click on update it just says that it is on the latest version (v3.0.0.250_21040806)
I have the E1 Outdoor, just followed the link to the download page to get the new firmware to test and the camera has been completely removed?
