Fixes & Improvements:
1. The WiFi password supported more than 16 characters.
2. Updated OPENSSL to the latest version.
3. Fixed some bugs.

Thanks for your kindly reminder, this issue has been fixed immediately after you reported the problem. New users will not receive a confirmation email with uncrypted password again, and we will never keep users' password.

I would like to request it be added that when ever you open the Reolink Client Software, it can check to see if there is a software update available. That way people don’t have to continually check the website.

Also the website is not current/reliable. I just downloaded the latest Mac OS X client software. Your website shows the following version:
v2.1.7.25

However when I installed it the version was: Version 2.2.7 (2.2.7.25)

Q: so I can install 2 SATA Drives?
A: Yes.

Q: is RAID (specifically MIRRORING) supported?
A: The most common used HDD is Western Digital and Seagate. RAID can not be supported.

Max Capacity of 8TB is mentioned

Q: is this PER SATA SLOT or is does this mean a limit of two 4TB drives???
A: It can connect 2 internal HDD, each 4TB, totally 8 TB. Additionally, there is an E-SATA connector for external HDD, also 4TB supported.

Nothing is mentioned about MAXIMUM RECORDING RESOLUTION vs number of cameras
Q: Can all 16 cameras with 4MP resolution be recorded at full resolution at the same time?
A: Yes. It can record 16pcs of 4MP cameras with 4MP resolution@30fps at the same time.

Q: are other brand cameras supported?
A: No. The system can only work with reolink cameras.

Q: is the NVR ONVIF camera compliant?
A: No. The NVR can only support reolink cameras.

Dear Customer,
How about PoE IP cameras that will connect to the router or switch directly to work in internet and use phone app REOLINK for surveillance?

This issue has been fixed, you can add attachments to your topic now.

We just fixed the issue of attachments uploading error, now users can add up to 5 images as attachments in the topic and change the profile image.

Theoretically, the maximum size SD card RLC-411S and 410S support is 64G. But recently, the built-in SD card is 16G. And you are not suggested to change it, for this may damage the camera.

In night vision, we suggest to set the motion detection sensitivity to be low, higher value(50 for example).
It is because of the noise in night vision which might trigger alarm by mistake.

1. level 1: It will trigger motion when there is 0.5% of the video area with motion object.
2. level 50: It will trigger motion when there is 10% of the video area with motion object.

So sorry that we did not notice about the settings. Appreciate your good suggestion on this.

To modify the password only, you may go to page USER-->MANAGE USER:


If to reset the camera, it is suggested to export the configuration files in page MAINTANENCE-->CONFIGURATION first, and after testing import the configuration files in the same page:


However, is your camera RLC-411 or RLC-411WS?
For password, there are 2 kinds as SSID password required of the reouter(RLC-411WS) and user password for camera(RLC-411/411WS).

SSID PASSWORD: Less than 16 characters
USER PASSWORD: Less than 32 characters; no space in the first character.
