@kristof As stated, the E1 AI Zoom has improved gear mechanism and never had to re-calibrate it or reset the guard point. This implies that they learnt from the first generation.@joseph_chircop GLOBAL MODERATOR @kpbUntil I see a component list with updated materials I'll believe what you say. But seriously I estimate nothing has changed as I can not find it anywhere that it did. So besides a million old E1's unsellable due to the bad ptz mechanism publicity, change the lens to 4k and resell the same crap, I think it's still the very bad plastic gear inside that will eventually give you the misaligned return points after a while. Please proof me wrong with component list comparison. Or let's just wait for someone to open both camera's on YouTube and see for ourselves ? Until then I'll stay away from them.Kind regards.
