Could you please add feature in your mobile app to temporarily disable motion detection. I sit in my backyard and get blasted with motion detection alerts and mails. Also please add temporarily disable recording
Your request has been collected. Engineering is reviewing the feasibility of implementing this idea. We’ll schedule to implement the request if it’s accepted. Otherwise it goes to the suggestion pool and may be reactivated if others make similar requests again. Thank you sincerely for sharing your thoughts. We will take your request seriously and work hard to make our products better~
I agree with these two option requests.I really don't need to record myself mowing my lawn, or cleaning the pool...
I agree with this. If I know I'll be in the camera range for an afternoon, I'd like to disable it when I go there.
What is the status of this?I have 6 cameras it is a complete pain to have to manually disable 6 PIR's the app itself should give the option to push "disable all PIR's" for "15, 30, 60, 1440" minutes.
Sorry that the motion detection can't be disabled temporarily at present. The frequent trigger at an inappropriate time is really an annoying thing, your suggestions will be a good direction to improve our product. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will forward the suggestion to our R&D people and they will pay attention to this. Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Carl,Sorry that is not acceptable, this was requested in February 2018, I want to know what has been done on it up to now not that you may start looking in to it?
We seriously need a simple toggle switch for the motion detection. Currently, there is no such option in the desktop client and mobile apps.
You can set the scene mode for your cameras now. When you're home, you can disable all the alarms via activating the home mode. But when you are away from home, you can activate the outside mode to enable all the notifications and alarms. Read on How to Set the Scene Mode for Your Cameras to learn more.
Sorry to tell you that the scene mode can only be set via Reolink App at present. Sorry for any inconvenience caused to you. Anything we can help you, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your understanding.
Did this never happen? I just moved to Reolink from Ring, and I can't disarm... I have contractors here and it is super annoying.
All I do when I get a notification on Home Screen on iPhone swipe left on notification either disable 1 hour or that day that way you don’t need to remember to activate it again hope that helps
I think adding a simple "notifications icon" switch to the doorbell app home screen would be a very useful. The function of the icon could be the same as going into settings and toggling "push notifications" on or off. But this way users can quickly disable notifications while they are doing activities near a doorbell camera. If they forget to turn notifications back on, they are reminded on the home screen of the current setting.
Turning off "Push Notifications" is not a great solution because it only works for that one user. Others still get motion alarms. So I submitted a request for a new feature:
Request for new Video Doorbell App feature “Device Sleep”Please consider adding a “Device Sleep” toggle button on the main page of the mobile app. When SLEEP is ON, this would temporarily pause all motion, person or visitor notifications for that doorbell, for all users. A time limit would be appropriate, with values the user can set. A bold icon would indicate the device is in “Sleep” mode.
