      For Models: 810A/820A/510A/520A/811A/511WA/823A/822A

      Download via https://bit.ly/38WSF1f.

      What’s New:
      1. Upgraded ONVIF protocol to version 21.06 (Support H.265 encoding).

      2. Added the Fixed Frame Rate setting (Available in Web and PC Client v8.7.3)

      • If you choose on(fluency first), the frames will be fixed and not be automatically adjusted for night vision.
      • If you choose off(clarity first), the frames will be automatically adjusted for night vision to guarantee the image quality in dark.

When you meet the problem of the smearing image or missed AI alarms, you can choose to enable the fixed rate.

      3. Added the Iframe multiplier selection(GOP multiplier selection)
What is GOP? A GOP is a group of consecutive pictures. A GOP(Group of pictures) is the distance between two iframes, measured in the number of frames, or the amount of time between iframes. For example, if an iframe is inserted every 1 second into a video at 30 frames, the GOP length is 30 frames, or 1 second.

How to set interframe space? In our Client, interframe space is to set the number of frames between two iframes. You can choose the multiple of the frames for both clear and fluent modes. 1X means one multiple of the frames rate you set. 2X means two multiples of the frames. For example, if you set 25 FPS and 2X, the distance between two iframes will be 50 frames.

The setting is to adapt to the settings of third-party software like Blue Iris. We suggest using the default setting. If you think your picture quality is not good enough, you can adjust the interframe space settings.

      4. Added the “illegal login lockout” setting to the user management setting.
After several failed attempts of the password, the account will be temporarily locked out for a few minutes.

      5. Added soft photosensitive day/night switching strategy and soft photosensitive sensitivity design.

      6. Upgraded AI model, reduced night false alarms and missed alarms.

      7. After disabling UID, the function of push notification will be disabled synchronously.

      Fixed:

      1. Fixed that FTP parameters do not work under WEB access.
      2. Fixed the issue of no audio output on some platforms using ONVIF.
      3. Fixed Threshold adjustment configuration failed to save issue.
      4. Fixed FTP-related bugs.
      5. Fixed Email-related bugs.
      6. Modified the copywriting for the Display window.

Work with Web and Desktop Client V.8.7.3 (Available soon)

      Tell me what you think!

Hi Reolink, Great update, picture quality seems to have improved especially at night.
Not liking push notifications linked to UID been enable :(, can we have an option to have push work without UID enabled ?

          @reolink-fiona
The new firmware works really great with iframe settings in night time now.
I use Blueiris with deepstack and aitool. I also run homeassistant as smarthome with send me notification to my mobil and turn lights on when a camera see something.
Now blueiris run with about 1.00 in keyframe on night and day. And it in both main and sub streams.
So thank you alot for this firmware update
Keep up the good work and the greate support you have in reolink.
i can only recommend reolink to all people out there.

          Thanks
          Brian Nielsen

"Added soft photosensitive day/night switching strategy and soft photosensitive sensitivity design"

I still have a problem with the detection zone, the camera sends notifications even in the undetected zone (I have forbidden a public road, but every passing car, etc. triggers an alarm). Does anyone have the same problem?

@ramms_119_396004748976341 For the day and night switch, our tech is checking this issue.
The setting is mainly to adapt to the setting of third-party software like Blue Iris. If you don't use the third-party software, you can just keep the default setting.

Using the Fixed Frame Rate setting, it can make the night vision more fluent with the fixed frame rate. You can adjust this setting on the Web using IP address now. The PC Client will be available soon.

@leroyloren_494318832750846 Can you try to draw the zone bigger than the accurate detection zone? If it still has issues, you can try to send the false alerts video in clear mode and your detection zone setting to our support team. Submit a request – Reolink Support

@lbs2reolink There is no such version for E1 Zoom now. You can get a new update for the E1 Outdoor from our support team. https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

@matty_523989069078662 Push will also need to communicate with the server. So when you disable the UID, the push will be disabled too. This is to guarantee the security for the users who don't want to communicate with the outside network.

@Reolink-Fiona thank you for your quick reply, If users did not want push to have access outside the network wouldn't they just have push turned off ?, My camera's only have local access except push (pushx.reolink.com) is allowed through firewall, having UID enabled is filling up my firewall logs in pfSense. Only way around this is to turn off logging which is not a option.

                                Thanks

When you download the .zip firmware file on your PC, you must open and extract the .pak file. The Reolink app with then be able to update the firmware. If you have to rename to a .pak then it has not been unzipped.

Check the hardware number of RLC-510A.
If your camera version IPC_523128M5MP_V2, you can not update at present.
