Would really love to try this. I have my other Reolink cameras set up to my Home Assistant automation system so I hope this one is compatible as well!!

Can you pair with more than one Reolink chime? Also does the chime function depend on the cloud connection being up, or can it work locally over LAN wifi?

@inge_241341868548265 The doorbell can connect to multiple Chime. The Chime doesn't need to connect to the Internet. You can just power the Chime, then it will work.

I'm patiently waiting for the release of this doorbell in Australia. I'm currently without a doorbell until I buy this reolink one. Is the release looking like late June? Or more July?

@talay-fidge_272018732716169 Apparently they don't know yet. Something upset the manufacturing plans I think.

I am waiting for the PoE version of the doorbell. I just installed the CAT6 cable back to the existing ReoLink NVR today and now just waiting for the doorbell to install over the CAT6 cable end. Hope it is available in Australia soon.
I have a question about the Chime, which I understand plugs directly into a power point.
How does the doorbell communicate to the Chime to instruct it to start chiming?Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@dgordon42_415060065599711
from Reolink Pre-sale Team.
The Chime would connect to the POE/Wifi IP Doorbell cameras via RF 433.92MHz.

I got mine, really REALLY good quality it's very good
Comes with everything needed to install also
Just have one shortfall, when someone presses the button on the doorbell, yes i receive a notification, but it isnt diferent from the other reolink notifications (or other apps for that matter).
With the RING doorbell if someone presses i actually get a Ringing notification that sets it apart from other notifications.
Or do i have to have the CLoud Plan to have a diferent notification that i can actually diferentiate from the normal ones? - 2 years later

Hi Reolink / Fiona
Thank you for all your updates and info
It seems there are quite a few of Australian's down under interested in your products
I was wondering, will the NEW battery doorbell be available anytime soon ?
Can you give us some details surrounding it's entry onto the market
How can it be charged (ie removal or battery or whole unit and charged via USB for example)
Specs of the Doorbell - camera, fov, "#"mp, ip rating etc
How long will the battery last
What recording options will be available - detection of motion triggered (animal human car), 24/7 and or scheduled
Customisable motion zones
Will it be able sync - with the NVR and or other options
Look forward to hearing back from you
Many thanks
