The rlc 823a loses you at auto tracking when you run, which is useless if the thief runs quickly when near. The Trackmix is better at it. Will it be fixed with a firmware update?

@drealine_329342379503810 @Arestis_676622578688071 A beta firmware version for RLC-823A with improved autofocus and patrol-tracking features are available now.
Anyone interested in testing the beta version are welcome to download here, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nc2M8gYOOzuBhF_NVALYEAjLHcyCttJk/view?usp=sharing, and send me feedback via message or comment. Thank you. -
@reolink-lorenz Wow, tested 2min after updated, the auto focus is very fast compared to last version. The feature which continue patrol after autotracking is in this beta ?
-
@Reolink-Lorenz auto focus is fast. But I mentionned to your support a problem using Synology NVR. The sound out of phase from streaming.
The guy send me a custom firmware and it's ok now. But using your beta FW, the probleam appear again.
I hope that will fix in the next release with those improuvments. -
@drealine_329342379503810 Yes, in this beta version, partol continues after auto-tracking.
-
@reolink-lorenz Ok tk!
I mentionned the problem of sync audio/video, is not fix in this beta. Since install the beta firmware 10hours ago, the audio has a lag of 10secondes with the video. Increase until reboot the camera. -
@drealine_329342379503810 Thank you for the feedback. We will fix the RTSP issue in the next firmware update.
-
@reolink-lorenz Possible to send me the FW update with the beta above ?
I'll appreciate to test news features.
Tk a lot. -
@Drealine_329342379503810 Is the audio lag on our app/client or your Synology NVR?
-
@reolink-lorenz Synology NVR directly. Firmware IPC_523128M8MP.2109_23051512.RLC-823A.IMX415.8MP.PTZ.REOLINK. resolved the issue.
Sent by technical support by email. -
@drealine_329342379503810 Thanks for the info. Our team will combine all the updates in the coming new version, which is expected to be released within 2 months. When the new firmware is available, I will let you know.
-
@reolink-lorenz Tk again!
-
@reolink-lorenz Did you have new news ?
-
@drealine_329342379503810 I suggest you to submit your request on https://support.reolink.com/requests/
-
@reolink-lorenz Did you have an ETA please?
I notice to the support that RLC823A firmware can't see in Download section. It's tooo bad to do this....
-
Verify that the camera is positioned correctly and has a clear line of sight to the rainbow friends area it is supposed to track. Also, ensure that the lens is clean and free from any obstructions.
-
Problems with speed like the one you described can sometimes be fixed by updating the firmware duck life. It is suggested that you contact the maker or go to their website to see if there are any firmware changes or other ways to make auto-tracking work better.
