@big_ted I did a quick check and observed the following.
- If you set the stream mode to CLEAR for DUO 2 and log again, you won't have video but just audio. You need to set stream mode to FLUENT before quitting the DUO 2 live stream.
- One cannot playback DUO 2 clips if set to CLEAR mode.
- Changing from FLUENT to CLEAR in DUO 2 has no significance. Seems CLEAR is no longer available on DUO 2 from client's perspective.
- In playback, no bar to move the video backward and forward.
- Doorbell left in the 1:1 view. It should follow the others and should be stretched once the stretch option has been enabled.
- Floodlight no longer supported.
- Mode stream selection is not maintained when accessing camera outside its LAN. Stream mode selection works only when camera and PC are on the same LAN as client connects directly....This I can understand why.
- Scheduler for the sensitivity has been added for motion only. This should be extended to cover all the object types. During the night the sensitivity has to be higher for pixel changes detection.
I will report them to the senior support. The issue of the CLEAR stream related to the DUO 2 has to do with some old libraries being used in the development (old MS C++ distribution packages, DirectX, etc) and is not in my notebook. In 4 years time this is the first time I encountered the issue of no video. Will troubleshoot it later on. -
@big_ted
This update blacked out all 4 of my Argus Eco's and my Argus Eco PT. I had sound but video whatsoever. I finally went back to version 8.8.5 and restored everything.3 days of hunt and pecking, trial and error and some nice members of the Reolink community I was to get everything back. If you or anyone can send me a link to V8.10 I would gladly try it out. That's what I had before the crashed update.Thank you.

For me, this one went the wrong way. Does not work with my Nvidia Card! Going back to 8.10. At least I know the work-arounds.

Ill send that feedback to support. Heres me hoping we were now on a stable release for all.
are you on win 10 or win11? -
@big_ted Thanks! I am on Win10 64-Bit.

3D Zoom is a great new addition!

The download screen is missing the video selection type for the RLC-820a camera. I have the latest firmware (v3.1.0.956_22041501) and have rebooted the camera. I have also deleted the camera and added it back to the windows client.

@john_350143387672724 I have it on all the cameras. However, I don't have the RLC-820A. It might be solved by installing old directx libraries. Kindly report it to support.

Support have the above issues recorded and are working on them. If anyone has any other issues with this version please send a support ticket
Lets hope they can get all the issues solved -
When switching cameras back to E1 Pro or when starting up (camera is set to clear) I noticed the quality of picture is not correct, kinda weird anti-aliasing or pixelated, almost as if it where somewhere below clear (not balanced and not fluent just to be clear). If i switch to any mode and then back to clear, the quality of clear appears as it should and the anti-aliasing/pixelated view disappears. The previous version did not have this issue.

I just upgraded to v8.11.0 on my computer.
My pictures are now blurry.
I can't sharpen the pictures either by clicking clear.
The pictures are sharp on my mobile phone.Reply QuoteShare1- Share this Post

The pictures are sharp on my mobile phone.Picture has never been clear on the desktop client until the last update, but it would shut down every time my computer went to sleep. I just use it to monitor, since my QNAP NAS is running QVR Pro and recording everything, but the new update as of this morning to v8.11.0 is blurry for me as well. Really frustrating to be honest.

@scottmby_340527461281969 Email Reolink support and they shall provide you with the DirectX repair tool to install older dll libraries.

Clear stream is not functioning in client for RLC-1212A at 4512x2512 resolution, neither in Live View nor Playback (clear stream works on mobile app and viewed directly from NVR). 3840x2160 resolution works on client. How do I revert to client v8.10.0?

@user_649233705312379_649233705312379 If it is in the download folder just double click and re-install.
-
@joseph_1979 It is not in my downoad folder as the updates install directly from the client app.
