Hi @Reolink-Fiona Could you give some details of the roadmap for next year releases? I would like an improved version of the E1 OUTDOOR to be released, which is giving me such good results. It could go from 5 to 8mpx, the possibility of incorporating PoE and improving the frames per second to 30 or even 60. A camouflage or black version would also be interesting.A new Argus, called for example "Argus 4 pro" would also be fine, also with 8mpx.Do you plan to release the RLC-1212A on Wi-Fi?Thanks!
@Reolink-Fiona Hi, something new about this suggestion? It would be great.
@Reolink-Fiona It would be a good idea to design a camera in the style of E1 outdoor or RLC 823a (rotating) but for the interior of the vehicle.This would be powered by a battery that could be charged to the USB-C of the car and the data could be processed via 4G or 5G when the car is off and via the car's Wi-Fi when it is on.It could also equip a solar panel that could be left on the dashboard to take advantage of and charge the battery when the car is in direct sunlight.The fastening could be by suction cup to any window on the inside of the car or to the panoramic roof.As main specifications I think that about 5mpx would be adequate at about 20fps, but perhaps a reinforcement of the coverage (more powerful antennas) is recommended.It could also be equipped with a motion sensor, so if a hit is detected in the car, the camera proceeds to record what has happened and it could also be used as a sports camera, but there I would bet on 8mpx and 30-60fps. It could be a hybrid surveillance/sports camera.In terms of size, I think it should be a bit smaller than the E1 outdoor.I think this is an excellent idea and I would like this suggestion to be passed on to the appropriate department for feasibility.Thank you very much for your attention.
@Reolink-Fiona testing client 8.8.0, one improvement could be hiding the buttons of zoom, snap, record, etc. if the mouse don´t move for example in 3 seconds. Other improvement could be setting the image quality from the general settings. I am testing all and I have no problems yet.
@Reolink-Fiona downloaded client 8.8.0 and in my e1 zoom I have loaded firmware 3.0.0.1107, let´s see how it goes.
@reolink-fiona please send me one to test
Answered. Thanks you!
@reolink-fiona great, looking forward to try it, but I don't have my PC with me until next week. Wait for me please!!
Hi @Reolink-Fiona It would be nice if, by 2023, the 12mpx PTZ and the 12mpx range that can support 25fps were launched. I have the 1210A and I am quite happy, but the problem is the opening angle (67º-41º), which is smaller than the 1212A and 1224A. Image quality is great.I would also make some improvements to the E1 range, especially the E1 zoom and E1 outdoor (firmware upgrades of course), but it could be 5x and 8mpx.Thanks.
@reolink-fiona Thank you Fiona.
Hi @Reolink-Fiona the battery version is very interesting.The sale of the camera together with the solar panel in a pack could be considered. You could also set the camera in such a way that when the camera detects that the solar panel is charging, the camera works without the battery (thus protecting battery life) and when the camera does not detect charging, it works by supplying power (from the battery).It would also be interesting to see new battery chemistries and state-of-the-art solar panels.I hope it withstands extreme climates. In Spain these days we are going to exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
@reolink-fiona Thank you for considering my suggestions Fiona! I keep in mind the new RLC-523WA for future acquisitions.Have a good day!
Hello team.I just updated the reolink app on my pc to 8.7.0 and would like to please see if it is possible to set the default quality (in my case 4 cameras) to "standard". Every time I click on one (zoom) and exit, the quality is lowered to "fluent" and I have to increase the quality of the cameras one by one. Could the preset quality of the cameras be set in the general settings? This suggestion could also be carried out in the app.Another question, do you plan to launch any improved or complementary version of the E1 Outdoor? It would be nice if there was an 8MP version, although it is true that that gap is occupied by the RLC-823A. New E2 range to replace the E1 range?Thanks!
