@reolink-fiona Country: USALanguage: EnglishI have tried "C:\temp", "D:\Downloads", "C:\", and numerous others..Nothing gets created (Windows Client v8.5.2).I installed Windows Client v8.7.0 (beta), and it did create the export file..But, we still need an Import option, otherwise Exporting the configuration is useless..One thing I noticed right away with v.8.7.0, is that when you click on a camera to make it full screen, you thenneed to right click and pick Clear for a better video resolution. With v8.5.2, when you clicked on the camera,it defaulted to Clear mode.. Something to look into..
@reolink-fiona That is the exact procedure I am using, and the export file never gets created. But the screen says "Export Successfully!", after picking a folder and clicking on export. I've tried to save to different drives, and folders. Nothing works..
I installed the latest version of the camera firmware, and need to import an old configuration file, and noticed that the Import option is missing (see pic).I've tried installing an older version of the NVR firmware, but that didn't fix the issue. So reinstalled the latest version.I also noticed that if I try to Export the configuration file,,, the file never gets created.NVR: RNL8-410 (N2MB02) (v3.0.0159_21122454)Cameras: RLC-820A (IPC_523128M8MP.764_21121701.RLC-820A.IMX415.8MP.REOLINK)
I'd like to suggest a change in the Playback Mode..Instead of just having a Blue Line for every detection, I'd like to see a different color for each detection.Example is Vehicle Detection = Red, Person Detection = Green, All Other Detections = BlueThe Color ID would help in for looking certain activity..I've attached a picture with what I am suggesting..Color-ID.jpg
Have you checked your local network bandwidth ?Ping your NVR from your computer.. See if there is a long delay..If you have something like Norton Security Suit running, it could be blocking the data flow.
If you put the streaming resolution & bit rate back to default, does it get worse ?
Here is something that needs to be fixed..In the Windows Client (v8.2.6), if you are in playback mode and hit pause, the snapshot option (pic attached),is missing. So you are unable to take a snapshot picture of your paused video.Snapshot.jpg
The issue is that the system emails me that a person has been detected, every time the shadow moves.Plus, since the last camera update (v3.0.0.250 (RLC-820A attached to the NVR RLN8-410)) the detection zones don't work.I have a tree in my backyard, and I setup the Not to detect around the whole tree, and it still picks up the tree moving in the wind. Also, since the last camera update.. At night when people are walking by my camera, the video shows the ghosting effect. It used to be clear.Let me add something that should be fixed.. When in playback mode on the Windows Client the date format I set in the system is mm/dd/yyyy. It shows properly in the video, but the timeline shows the date format as dd/mm/yyyy (pic attached).Reolink-Playback-Time.jpg
I would like to see the AI fixed so that it doesn't notify me of a person, every time the shadows move from the trees.(pic attached)I'd attach a video, but the size is to big.I have the sensitivity setting reduced from 8am - 3pm, and if I reduce the sensitivity and more it won't detect a real person.Tree-Shadows.jpg
Martin,Below is my take on your questions.. Answered by the numbers..1) You can add a Privacy Mask to the area you don't want to see (example: neighbors windows, etc). It will put a black box in the video where you setup the Privacy Mask (the privacy mask can only be a square or rectangle in shape).2) You CAN define areas that you DO NOT want to detect motion (this can be any shape/size).3) I can't answer this question, sorry.4) If you are going to use the reolink mobile app to access the cameras, then there is No need to make a modification to the router. If you are going to access the cameras from another computer over the internet than, Yes, you will need to adjust some settings in the router (setup DDNS, port forwarding, etc).I hope this helps...
+1 to this also.
Here is an update:I found that if you adjust the Detection Sensitivity on a camera, using the Windows Client, then the Motion Detection Zones get messed up..
Just double click in the center area (same place you drag the cameras to), that will show 1 or 4 camera spots. If 1 spot shows, then double click the center again. 4 spots should show then. Then instead of dragging a camera over, you drag the NVR over. All 4 cameras will show.I see in the picture, that you already have 4 spots. So then just drag over the NVR to any one of the 4 spaces. And all 4 cameras will show.
Are you dragging a camera from the left, to the center ?I say that because I (using the google translate app), see that window says "No Camera".Once the camera is dragged over, the Playback window will populate. You will even see the calendar showing blue dots under the days that have recordings.
Len,You didn't waste my time.. I'm glad I could help..
Same version as yours.. (v3.0.0.123_21031205)Yes, Enable Record is an All Cameras or Nothing switch..I just want to clarify,, because you keep saying "Scheduling",, That you are Picking the Camera under Schedule, and then clicking on TIMER not Alarm. ?
Reolink Client v8.2.6
I just did a test of the procedure, and it took about 1 min after I hit save, and it stopped recording.Live view is still active..
Len,Go into Settings, then Surveillance, then Record.Under Schedule pick Camera 4, then click on Timer (under schedule),disable all, and then Save.
