I think if you have the right tools, you can actually disassemble the parts and then clean off the moist there and screw back in tight.

But since it's brand new, you don't want to void the warranty.

Hi, i see you have vsftpd setup on ubuntu. I had to rebuild my OS ubuntu and setup vsftpd again.

I seem to have trouble with testing ftp and it completing.

The test folder is there, the test file is there but it’s size is 0.

Are you using the default config for vsftpd?

I am using FTP constant recording to my PC. And I notice one thing, it stores thumbnails along with the MP4.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can turn off saving the JPG thumbnails to FTP server?

If there is no setting for that, then I would like to suggest to add this feature.

If by switching to 1080p solves your problem, then I can highly likely think it's to do with your connection.
Can you explain to us how you connect your IPC to your PC running the FTP server?

(1) How long is your ethernet cable run?
(2) Are you using PoE injector? Active or Passive?
(3) Does your IPC connect to a router or directly to hub?
(4) Is your house running in full Gigabit network?

It's difficult to troubleshoot your problem without actually getting hold of your video clips.
But since it's P&C, so I can understand that.
(1) What kind of video player are you using to play the clip?
(2) Maybe you could give us the "Properties" of the video clip?
(3) Could it be your PC is too old?
(4) How old is your hard drive? What is the brand you use for your hdd and it's model?

I checked the Android App for the guest login, it seems that it is giving the guest permission correctly.
It's more of the bug on the text indication as "Administrator" in the firmware.
It should be a very straightforward fix.

Hi,

I am running the latest firmware and noticed that there is the bug in Adding User session.
I have created a Guest user and set it to be only Guest permission, but after Saving it, it still show as Administrator permission.

Please help to rectify this. Thanks.
