@user_731114945163512_731114945163512 If it is a battery operated cam which uses PIR detection then it makes sense but for pixel motion detection, the camera has to continuously compare the change in pixels from one frame to another. So in this case the IR has to be always on.
@stuart_185312528715954 I am a customer like you and give my support on operation based on my engineering and software skills. Yes, I am aware of that archive and it's really pity Reolink don't include old firmware and clients in their download center. Nevertheless I suggest you to open a ticket with Reolink support.
@stuart_185312528715954 Go to https://reolink.com/download-center/ and download the fw and apply it using the Windows client.
@stuart_185312528715954 I am on the same firmware but i have the WIFI TrackMix model. I don't have any issues and I can view in clear mode and the sound is continuous. Try to email Reolink support.
@issom If this is fine then they should make it available to all TrackMix customers. What's the version of the firmware pls?
@sarcasmpro I don't have this camera. Try to email Reolink support.
@user_653760672600082_653760672600082 Kindly email support of https://support.reolink.com/requests/
@egmontr_304656000733347 Kindly submit your request to Reolink support on https://support.reolink.com/requests/ . Shortly Reolink shall update the client to have a different ring tone if the doorbell button is pressed. However, we, as customers, are requesting Reolink to call the smartphone as is being done by competitors. We receive lots of push notifications for a myriad of appls and so we need to have an incoming call on our smartphone when the doorbell button is pressed. Their proposal as an interim is fine but we need a SIP call.
@user_727238878437606_727238878437606 It connects to the strongest signal level. New cameras have the option to force the camera to connect to the 5G Hz band as the preferred band,
@user_731045746307225_731045746307225 What is your issue?
@user_617650665832448_617650665832448 Add it using its UID.
@user_726202904981644_726202904981644 @Lorenz. Kindly update the progress to this customer.
@railfan-arizona_485965826351268 That's too long. It should be just a few seconds when logging from another network. We can eliminate the ISP by using the hotspot of the smartphone. Can you connect your PC to the smartphone hotspot (use mobile data not home WIFI) and try to connect to remote cameras from PC client? Thanks.
@plum-hale_471695702057097 According to Reolink support, the dev team is working on motion tagging. Have no idea when this shall be made available.
@user_729627336949995_729627336949995 Submit your proposals to Reolink support so that they will pass them to dev team for evaluation.
@user_730146859262203_730146859262203 Disable it.
@user_726829142737134_726829142737134 Check out this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900006968183-How-to-import-APN-information-to-Reolink-Go-PT/Make sure you type it correctly with no spaces as some operators will reject the IMSI attach from the MME side. Others take a default one even you type it incorrectly.
@ryandanielwood_77905830711496 Submit your request to Reolink support. The more requests they have the higher the probability of implementation.
@abruemmer_294883353338065 Which one you want? Perhaps this one https://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/electron-release/reolink_setup_8.11.0.exe
@rjliii_56525500874 I am running v8.12.1 on both Win 10 and 11 and don't have this issue. It's normal to have 5 Reolink processes, each of which performs specific task. The one with the highest memory is the one communicating with the cameras and handling the media flow. Do you have other background processes with higher priority? Try to assign higher priority to Reolink client processes.At the same time email Reolink support and include any info/screenshots to assist them in troubleshooting.
