@mike-w_964663981568201 The cameras are there but playback will not start. To start a playback on any of the 4 cameras you have to click on the interested recorded video from the timescale underneath. But if you quit the client and re-run, the playback default to one screen. This is not lost if you interchange between playback and live views at least on the Win client.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Oh... this is to indicate what triggered the detection. Sometimes even stationary objects are enclosed. That's why it is still in beta :). Definitely it needs to be improved.
@kimchigun This is my understanding too. The out of view detection is based on 3 PIRs and so we have range limitation (say 10-12m). In addition what will be the behaviour of the camera when objects are detected by the 3 PIRs? They reduced the tilt angle to 50 degrees. On the Trackmix this is 90 which allows the user to see beneath cam. I cannot find the resolution of the telephoto.
@crimp-on_62210811129 So they added the smart event detection on this camera ! This feature is part of the professional line up. Have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/43590651628697-Comprehensive-Guide-to-Reolink-Perimeter-Protection-and-Smart-Event-Detection/Yes, sometimes pictures are not added, links are not permissible other than reolink.com. And a member has to wait some hours before adding more comments. Sometimes when I hit the submit I get an error and I had to log out and log on again. I doubt whether anyone looks after this.
@automator59_639186886537247 The Windows client is not meant to act as 24x7 recording/monitoring solution. This is the purpose of the NVR.
@ron_974431951515797 Follow this link https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/38035645150489-How-to-Install-a-Hard-Drive-in-Reolink-Home-Hub-Pro/I never checked the directories structure or tried to copy files which are encrypted (if enabled). You may try it.
@digitalocoee_474302894997736 So you are able to connect from any external network other than those where a Starlink router is used. But there are lots of customers using Starlink satellite and have no issues. Did you try to connect using your notebook?
@kgeo_977769030947016 Ask them to provide you with the beta fw which integrates the chime.I don't know why they haven't released it.
@user_988230359494835_988230359494835 Try to delete it and add it again.
@digitalocoee_474302894997736 Yes you can. Have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007011233-How-to-Capture-Live-JPEG-Image-of-Reolink-Cameras-via-Web-Browsers/
@reolink_333507142684871 I don't have the NVR and so I couldn't trace. However, the clients broadcast several messages with payload aaaa0000 and the cameras reply back with IP, port, UID, etc. I guess they are using the same methodogy.
@reolink_333507142684871 Nope. Cameras and NVR should be on the same subnet.
@pori-oikodomi_674404304457770 I never used their cloud service. So I suggest you to email support on support @ reolink . com
@pietronet_321732206801066 Strange. Open a ticket with support.Try to reboot the camera.
@reolink-alyson In all releases we see that the vertical FOV is mostly less than 58 degrees. We have been requesting at least 70 degrees VFOV. Similar to what we were accustomed in the past.
@marcello_835887089045742 Fai la rechiesta al supporto.
@reolink-alyson The message....two boys rang the doorbell reminded me of something I have been requesting since the first doorbell was released. Do you think Reolink will ever implement VOIP calling to the client when the doorbell button is presses? This is a requirement for the Android smartphone.
@kimchigun Only admin and moderators are allowed. Do you have chat as cited below?
@kimchigun This is chopstick's problem. I am problem FREE :). We didn't hear from him.
@user_863771412115668_863771412115668 You mean RLN36 which has 36 channels. This can have storage up to 48TB. This caters for 15 days recording from 36 8K cameras. You may opt to have Frigate installed on a server with higher storage capacity. There are a lot of customers who have integrated Reolink cams with Frigate. They use the AI detections implemented on Frigate. Frigate supports both license plate recognition (LPR) and face recognition natively in version 0.16 and later, allowing you to identify known faces and vehicles by assigning custom labels and triggering Home Assistant automations based on these detections
