@user_865172826435753_865172826435753 The SIM service is applicable only to 4G cameras (operating over the Mobile Packet Data network). Cloud service shall be available if you have bound the camera to the cloud service and subscribed to a plan.I assume that you have a micro SD inserted in the camera and followed the instructions as indicated in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900003747326-How-to-Set-up-Motion-Recording-on-SD-card-Reolink-NVR-and-Home-Hub/ . Additional troubleshooting tips.
@lemue_73398283825307 Good choice. Higher vertical FOV compared to the DUO 3. I have two DUO 2 and they are fully exposed to rain and sun and never had any issue.
@scott9990_615758583771236 I don't experience any disconnections. Check that the WiFi signal is strong at the location of the camera. Try to connect to the 2.4G band which has longer wavelength and subsequently longer range.
@user_798453693608148_798453693608148 IFTTT or MQTT. I have asked for these for quite some time. I am getting this through HA.
@wisemanjaw Agree. We have been telling them to have the application check the fw of the connected cameras and if a new one is available it shall prompt the user. I don't know the reason why this has not been implemented from day 1. This is readily available on competitors application.
@wisemanjaw Nothing to worry about. Those are the P2P relay servers provided by AWS. Read my explanation of how cameras are accessed at https://community.reolink.com/topic/87/how-does-the-reolink-uid-actually-work/2?post_id=22657&_=1744797299000
@user_709297619894472_709297619894472 Rather than locking can you block its mac address on the farther AP?
@tdebrabandere_377655314296973 I have the Argus PT Ultra connected to the Home Hub Pro and never had any disconnections. The WiFi signal is quite strong at the camera location and I am using 5G.Try to use 2.4G band and check whether the disconnections dissappear.
@rog_610045520646206 Have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004384713-Guide-on-Integrating-Third-Party-Cameras-with-Reolink-NVRs/
@todd-b_937478172274832 Have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000431446-How-to-Set-up-Continuous-Recording-on-SD-card-Reolink-NVR-and-Home-Hub/Under camera recording, you should have continuous recording schedule.
@user_911353752531093_911353752531093 That's the way PIR functions.
@user_744973684297915_744973684297915 The auto update doesn't work. They have to push the fw to your UID. So you need to upgrade it manually. You have to transfer the downloaded file onto a USB. The procedure is simple and you have to be on-site.Follow the procedure outlined in https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/34817575507481-How-to-Manually-Update-Firmware-for-Reolink-Devices/
@david-a_371159357874379 have a look at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000643986-How-to-Set-up-the-Pre-Motion-Recording-via-Reolink-PoE-NVR/Depends on the camera. Altas has the pre-recording.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 indeed it's hard to build trust and reputation but can be destroyed in seconds. Once destroyed you won't get it back no matter what you do.
@kimchigun that's what cost cutting yields to. AI support is nowhere near to well-trained human.
@kimchigun This is available on Home Hub Pro. You have start and end date, device and event type. The issue here is in the event history you can only view in fluent mode. Should be extended to watch in clear mode.
@hodi_693059887173885 I did the upgrade and I noticed this too. I had to switch off the HDR as I was getting flickering of a street light lamp. The anti-flickering parameter didn't help. You may open a ticket with support.
@user_666830062862355_666830062862355 because it drains more current when IR lights are on.So you used a different port and location and still heard the noise? If this is the case that the cam is faulty and if still under warranty ask for a replacement
@user_666830062862355_666830062862355 Seems to be power related. Would you be able to get it down and test it in a dark room and connect it to a different poe port?
@user_744973684297915_744973684297915 Depends on the HW version of your NVR. Check it out at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000602543-Comprehensive-Guide-to-Reolink-NVR-Hardware-Versions/Go to their download center and check the latest firmware. If newer then upgrade it.
