@user_822884704698612_822884704698612 Need more details on how its connected? using POE switch? You cant see your DHCP table within your router? There should be a list of connected clients within the router. If you could bring the camera down plug it up closer to the router with a short drop cable, that will confirm is there is a faulty cable or cam.
Super awesome footage dude!
@user_603788725944329_603788725944329 Add them per their UID that will create the cloud link between your app and the cams.
I think you need to look at what you are needing.Ultra wide is ultra...wide. But it usually has a very small vertical FOV. Unlike the 1240A, which had a huge FOV, but not as wide as the ultra-wide cams. I prefer the ultra wide if I'm trying to capture a large area. Then i use other models when I need more accurate view.
It would be nice to have a 3 cam or a 2 cam option for Duo cams. Where it shows 2 duos as widescreen. or 3 cams with the 1 duo at top as wide screen and 2 cams below in a squared box. PC Client already does it, with 2 cam setting. Currently the only has a 4 cam option.
@chopstix My cam shows charging when the sun is out. It shows a lightning bolt over the battery icon.It hasnt charged since we are heading into another winter storm, polar vortex. Lots of cloud cover. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow but cold but we will see. I did have a lot of fragmented recordings until I adjusted the monitor point timeout and raised my PIR to the max. it’s less now. But this is my backyard, it’s not a highly active area. It’s really to cover my front and back door.
@reolinkshayla Finally a battery powered door bell! Been waiting for this for a long time!!Will it have capabilities for a solar panel?
@user_830676047601836_830676047601836 I know on my reolink nvr, there is a auto scan feature when trying to add a cam to a channel. Does the Amcrest cam show up in that list?
@chopstix Since your post, I've been watching my camera's logic. I get very few fragmented recordings, but I feel like it happens when my wife and dog barely step out of range of the PIR sensor and steps back in. Increasing the "Time to Stop Tracking" to 1 Mins for both options seems to drop fragmented recordings a little more on my end. This is my 1st battery/solar cam in my system. I have all POE cams. It has been a doozy pin pointing these settings for my scenario.
@johnsonm2_326272226037961 So if you did a factory reset... You will need to add the cams back to the channels. The network ports the non functional cams are plugged into, do they have lights blinking on them? Want to confirm their active and hot.
@joseph_1979 Ah gotcha! Thanks for the explanation! It being 6F today and sunny, no charge... Now I know why. So far, this camera has performed to my needs. it has been operating at 0F and -10F wind chills. So far so good.
@reolink-oskar Bring back the POE flood light. Or add every camera's spotlight into the "linked devices" so we can create "scenes". Motion zones versus the non motion paint brush. LPR feature or a LPR cam. Software based NVR. So we can self host.
@reolink-oskar I dont have one... Yet. If you want to send me one, I will gladly run through it and post my findings here.
