I'm running a sip server off of my Nvidia Shield TV. it can be a direct ip to ip. as long as ports are configured. hell it doesn't even have to be sip. is the video right now sip?? no. all they would need to do is make a call screen in the app so when doorbell is pressed sends to app to answer or decline it doesn't have to be sip at all.
@joseph_1979 the doorbell itself can technically be used as the sip server as the doorbell is running Linux. the doorbell itself can technically also be used to send push images just like it does for normal push notifications.
@saftek_706413467136234 the username/password issuea is also whats happening to me as well on my Lorex/Dahua NVR. also just started a few days ago with android app Onvier video isn't showing up just black screen but audio plays. it isn't the app because I have Lorex and Hikvision cams also and they show video when using Onvier.

@myreolink_533265780207845 right now save your money! you will miss most if not all doorbell presses (unless you are near your chime) also no call screen with option to answer or decline when someone rings doorbell. no actual logs that when preased x notification it would present you with video clip playing at time of notification. it actually isn't a video doorbell and tbh they should stop selling it and recall it or refund everyone all their money back they paid for it.

Reolink should have added the Video call from the get go of release of the doorbells.2.} the call screen when doorbell is pressed haa been a feature that has been asked for for well over 7 months now why is it taken so long????3.) what was the point in releasing the doorbell to market when it doesn't act like all video doorbells on the market today? all it is, is a video camera with a doorbell attached to it and doesn't perform like the ones on the market today. the reolink so called video doorbells is what you would see from the late 90's early 2000's that does $h|t all and isn't worth what people have paid for. 4.) Reolink just admit you don't know what your doing!5.) stop selling the video camera with a doorbell attached to it (not a real video doorbell so I cant call it a video doorbell)6.) refund all existing owners with a FULL refund plus allow them to keep the useless crap.7.) if and only if and when you come out with a proper video doorbell is when you should start selling a doorbell again.

I DEMAND MY MONEY BACK ON 2X WIFI DOORBELLS. ALSO WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PUT IN REQUESTS FOR STANDARD BASIC FEATURES THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDED BEFORE RELEASING TO CONSUMERS SUCH AS SIP/VOIP POPUP CALL SCREEN, EASY TO UNDERSTAND NOTIFICATION LOG THAT WHEN CLICKED TAKES RIGHT TO NOTIFICATION RECORDED VIDEO AND NOT HAVING TO WATCH ALMOST ALL OR ALL OF 5 MIN CLIP JUST TO SEE ACTUAL VIDEO OF NOTIFICATION.
As the title says. That being said all users should be getting free 180GB cloud storage FREE of cost until all issues are fixed and also until the damn things actually acts as a what it was advertised as also with app updates for call answer when doorbell is pressed.
Also received the doorbell a couple of days ago and installed it (PoE via my NVR), but it's just a camera now.I have RLN16-410 (H3MB02) and after searching I came across this topic. Will there be a firmware update in the future for this device so I can get notified when someone is pressing the doorbell?
I for one will be sending an invoice for wasting my time in me putting up the db camera, its just a damn camera with a chime and a button to ring the chime and send a notification saying door bell was pressed. I wasted money on 2 of the cameras plus wasted money on other things just to install the damn thing (old house over 120 years old). so will be invoicing for my time wasted plus cost of things I needed to get to install the useless peice of junk.I would advise everyone who thinks what I and others think in this post to do the same. SEND REOLINK an invoice for your time being wasted on setting the misleading advertised (Doorbell) Camera.Its been 7 months since the OP so this says that they have NO INTENTION to update it to what it should be like. Gets me wondering if all the reviews on this junk was paid reviews.
@rich-green_676470027059929 If you know where your db transformer is buy ELK 24 Vac 40 VA Resetting Transformer https://a.co/d/hC3IZ3t then remove wires from dp transformer and add to the adaptor. Although the Reolink doorbell wifi comes with power adaptor thats about 3 to 4 feet plus about 10 feet worth of cable to attach to provided adaptor
