@reolinkshayla glimpse of security also means actually having STABLE apps and also hardly any bugs. and Reolink you have a long long long long long log long long long long way to get there. hell you cant even make an app that actually is useful nor can you actually make a good Video Doorbell!! can't wait to see you at CES so I can also advise and show CES Guests you dont know how to make products and why people shouldn't buy Reolink.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 oh. yeah we bought right from reolinks website. now will never buy if i buy reolink again from reolinks official website.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 surprised because they deduct a restocking fee from the refund plus have to pay shipping back to them. its even stated in their retern policy. also as per the emails I've had with them.
@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 reolink doesn't actually know what they are doing. their app dev team and even their hardware dev team proves this. I say stick with your other doorbell and send back reolink doorbell for a FULL refund. dont settle foe anything less then what you paid for also dont allow them to force you to pay shipping back to them. if they refuse to issue a full refund and also they refuse to pay shipping back to them let me know. I've already been speaking to lawyer and planning on suing them for false/misleading & deceptive Advertising the Video Doorbell as well as failing to issue a full and complete refund as well as failing to pay for shipping due customer such as myself and others were mislead to believe it acted as other video doorbells on the market and since its their fault customers should get a full and complete refund without having customers pay for shipping back to them.
Ok I've had it with Reolink and about ready to take down all of reolinks servers. reolink FIRE your damn app dev team and also dev team for firmwares and hire better devs that know what they are doing!!!!!!!
so disappointed in Reolink Doorbell that I had to use black Permanent Marker on Reolink Logo on doorbell as I don't want to advertise what a SHITTY thing it is. Don't want others to make the mistake and buy one or 2 or more like I did.
@joseph_1979 the Nutone doorbell chime is both wireless and wire. for wireless the button is sold separately so i assume can program the sold separately button. with that said I'm also assuming I can program the rl db to it then? just dont know how or if we could thats why I asked. how do people program the one you were talking about?
@joseph_1979 we already have 2 reolink doorbells paired to 1 chime but both give same chime tone when pressing doorbell button. was wandering if I can change 1 tone for 1 db and another tone for other db all while using just one chime
This is the wife again. Sorry for another post. We have a Nutone wired/wireless doorbell chime. It works on the same RF frequency as the reolink doorbell cameras. Has anyone used it with the doorbell cameras as we have seen others discussing about RF modules and this doorbell chime has one built in. So would we be able to use them together and if so how? LA600WH is the model number. Thanks again.
Hello. This is the wife. We have two doorbell cameras. Right now we have them paired to one plug in chime as old house so not a lot of outlets, but they both have the same sound. This is a bit annoying, so is there a way to have 2 cameras each with their own sound but paired to the same plug in chime or do they each need to be paired to their own plug in chime to set up 2 different sounds? TIA
@reolinkshayla a week before Christmas. and I know what IM not getting people as a gift Reolink product's. I was planning to get all my family members plus my wife's family members all Video doorbells (over 400 people in family) but not after testing myself. nope no thanks maybe next year if Reolink makes some changes to what the Video Doorbell should be.
@big_ted tell them since they pushed the update you EXPECT a detailed change log. did it auto update? when checking if update was available does it ask to install after downloading or does it ask after download is completed if you wish to update firmware now?
@joseph_1979 ok and?? as I said it doesn't have to be Sip/voip. and lets face it Reolink doesn't even know what they are doing. you think they know how to even implement Sip/Voip? i mean they cant even program their applications properly. they themselves have basically admitted they have no clue what they are doing when they commented on a post saying they need to find a way how to implement a call screen.
@joseph_1979 again you dont need Voip/sip for it to "ring" you know nothing so please stop making yourself look like fool. the botton press can trigger app to open a call like screen to pop up or open up that gives you option to answer or decline and can all be done without the need of Sip servers.
@big_ted have you noticed anything new or improved?
@joseph_1979 again thats not the only way to get a call screen to appear. the screen can be a normal app opening automatically when doorbell is pressed. it can a popup like screen that could also open up automatically when its pressed. many other ways to implement a call screen without even having VOIP/SIP like feature
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 yep and they could also go out of business because of lawsuits and possibly class action lawsuit and even massive fines by federal governments globally due to the false/misleading and deceptive advertising they have done when advertising the so called video doorbell
@joseph_1979 here is reolinks lame @$$ update. just proves they dont know what they are doing or saying.
@reolinkshayla "Secure your space with confidence" lol thats a joke right? because right now I and probably many other others don't have confidence with Reolink especially when it comes to the Reolinks so called Video Doorbell, and the Reolinks Mobile Android App!!!!
