Hello. This is the wife. We have two doorbell cameras. Right now we have them paired to one plug in chime as old house so not a lot of outlets, but they both have the same sound. This is a bit annoying, so is there a way to have 2 cameras each with their own sound but paired to the same plug in chime or do they each need to be paired to their own plug in chime to set up 2 different sounds? TIA
@reolinkshayla a week before Christmas. and I know what IM not getting people as a gift Reolink product's. I was planning to get all my family members plus my wife's family members all Video doorbells (over 400 people in family) but not after testing myself. nope no thanks maybe next year if Reolink makes some changes to what the Video Doorbell should be.
@big_ted tell them since they pushed the update you EXPECT a detailed change log. did it auto update? when checking if update was available does it ask to install after downloading or does it ask after download is completed if you wish to update firmware now?
@joseph_1979 ok and?? as I said it doesn't have to be Sip/voip. and lets face it Reolink doesn't even know what they are doing. you think they know how to even implement Sip/Voip? i mean they cant even program their applications properly. they themselves have basically admitted they have no clue what they are doing when they commented on a post saying they need to find a way how to implement a call screen.
@joseph_1979 again you dont need Voip/sip for it to "ring" you know nothing so please stop making yourself look like fool. the botton press can trigger app to open a call like screen to pop up or open up that gives you option to answer or decline and can all be done without the need of Sip servers.
@big_ted have you noticed anything new or improved?
@joseph_1979 again thats not the only way to get a call screen to appear. the screen can be a normal app opening automatically when doorbell is pressed. it can a popup like screen that could also open up automatically when its pressed. many other ways to implement a call screen without even having VOIP/SIP like feature
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 yep and they could also go out of business because of lawsuits and possibly class action lawsuit and even massive fines by federal governments globally due to the false/misleading and deceptive advertising they have done when advertising the so called video doorbell
@joseph_1979 here is reolinks lame @$$ update. just proves they dont know what they are doing or saying.
@reolinkshayla "Secure your space with confidence" lol thats a joke right? because right now I and probably many other others don't have confidence with Reolink especially when it comes to the Reolinks so called Video Doorbell, and the Reolinks Mobile Android App!!!!
@adrian-m_363708397707411 go here to download last version before 4.41. https://www.apkmirror DOTCOM/apk/reolink-digital-technology-co-ltd/reolink/reolink-4-40-0-4-20230911-release/
@adrian-m_363708397707411 they pick wrong beta testers who we clearly see have NO clue what beta testing means. I've been an alpha as well as beta tester for Microsoft and I know how to beta test.
@reolinkshayla F-off with your so called deals. it isnt a deal when you have NO CLUE what you reolink are doing. now stop with the deals and new devices and focus on devices that you already have out and start giving actual support on them.
@joseph_1979 I've already sent them screenshots for Ezviz months ago. so they already have it.
@user_742157038760064_742157038760064 check for java update or maybe if you did update java then downgrade to previous known version that worked? also fresh install reolink might do trick.
@khalid_735248509800620 no point in asking as reolink doesn't know what they are doing and its not going to happen. and people should start DDoS'ing Reolink site so they have a hard time scamming potential new customers.
@joseph_1979 ultimately its ours. if we all email them and threaten Reolink that we will no longer support Reolink, no longer recommending Reolink, and if we stop buying Reolink until they show us all otherwise by actually listening to us with things we have requested.
@reolinkshayla stop pushing out new devices and put your [censored] focus on supporting app development and also features of cameras such as doorbell with features that should have come with them but dont such as video call screen opens when doorbell is pressed.
@joseph_1979 that would consist of @Reolink knowing what they are doing and so that means we will probably NEVER see call screen as they clearly have shown and proven they have no clue what thay are doing.
@tonyht and probably never will as reolink doesn't know what they are doing. this feature was said to be in 4.40 yet it wasn't. they keep promising so new buyers dont return b4 30 days. then after the promise and nothing and want to get refund they use the excuse of sorry past 30 days.
