FYI: 8.10.4 has the same issue as 8.10.3.

Just got this update this evening, and PTZ controls are missing for RLC-823A, however, they show for the Reolink TrackMix Only..
-
Checked this morning. On one RLC-823A all the functions are there.. On another RLC-823A since this update, missing some of the functions.. Same Firmware and Hardware... This makes no sense!
-
So I removed the PTZ camera and re-added it and then all functions are back. Seems to me the client did not detect the correct camera model when first loaded. So deleting and re-adding the device seem to fix the controls.

check as well if the old client is also still installed. I has both new and old client still installed so had to manually remove old -
@big_ted
I installed the old 8.8.5 client, and all my cameras on remote sites are still missing, but still show up on the latest update without the PTZ controls.
-
Yes, there is an issue going from 8.8.5 to 8.10.3 with missing Talk - Clip - PTZ in the Windows Client. And, it could be related to different camera models. I'm using a RLC-523wa and E1 Outdoor camera(s).
But, it could also be a security issue between an Admin and User configuration and the way the security level is currently using the camera. No idea why the client app works one time and the next it does not. Sometimes a computer reboot seems to resolve the issue the first time using the app, but afterwards it fails again.
It's definitely a hit and miss software issue.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Yes I am seeing the same issue with same camera in Windows Client however the Android App works fine? Reolink Support has not responded to any of my inquiries, very disappointing. All my other reolink cameras works fine. -

This solved the problem, per Support. Drag the camera out of the Liveview window and drag its device name back to Liveview again

@railfan-arizona_485965826351268 In the TrackMix the Zoom icon is no longer being avialable in the dualview screen. One has to go to single view to use the zoom function. Senior Support notified.

The issue is... RLC823a DO NOT SHOW the PTZ or Talk Controls where the TrackMix does! ReoLink really screwed up this time.
-
Control buttons are invisible. You can use them if you can locate them.
Forexaple I have PTZ under the minute digit.Reply QuoteShare1- Share this Post

Thanks for the tip, hovering over and clicking randomly in the bottom third of the camera display brings up the ptz, talk and timelapse options. As you say there are there but they are invisible

had to uninstall and go back to 8.7.1
What a PITA! -
Same issue - upgraded the client and the PTZ controls disappeared. Do ReoLink plan a fix to the problem?

@nic-willcocks_67438631916765 This has been fixed in v8.11 which shall shortly be made available to the general public. Controls in the new version have been moved to a tool bar beneath the view window and the calendar issue fixed too.

Installed the actual version (v8.12.1) on a cleaned up windows client and after the first start all PTZ cameras were shown with PTZ symbol and function.
I closed the Reolink client and reopend it, now all PTZ symbols/functions are gone on the windows client.
As you can see, it doesn't matter if there is a camera without PTZ included. Also the microphone option is not available anymore.
The screenshot on the bottom shows the first start after the installation and entering the user/pass - the screenshot on the top shows the same client just closed and reopend.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

What I did to get back the PTZ options or control panel was I updated the cam to the current firmware. Then I did a factory reset to the cam and then added it back in the app. Now it's back. This worked for model number RLC-423
