          Hi,

          I checked with the model name RLC-823A for a new firmware version (as stated) but your firmware page does no longer recognize the Reolink RLC-823A model as a valid Reolink camera. Any idea, what is going on ???

              If there is no new firmware available for a camera since its release then there will be none listed on the firmware download section.
              Support do have BETA firmwares and sometimes a newer release that is not yet published. I have been pushing them to ensure
              the latest firmwares are made available straight away from the download section.

                @burkm_172321696190677 You are right to ask. We have been requesting Reolink support to keep the download center updated with the latest stable firmware and possible with all the firmware developed for each model. The same applies for the clients. This is a simple job and won't entail a Phd :).

                The more organized you are the more trust customers have in YOU.

                  @big_ted - The 823A has had numerous firmwares since it has been out. I am not a moderator and even I know that. However, it has been taken off the drop-down for whatever reason. Been back and forth with email support and they told me there was no v3.1.0.2217 even though all my cameras got the push! It took 5 emails back and forth before I got the information I needed and guess what, it is still missing off the website.

                    I can confirm. I downloaded v3.1.0.2217_23051711_v1.0.0.31 from Reolink's website and installed it. It has now been removed and is no longer available to download. Its been working fine without problems so far!

                      I havent used this camera so unaware of what updates it has had.
                      That being said I have had numerous cameras have updates that dont get published to the website
                      for some unknown reason and have requested them via support. I have no idea why they do this but I have placed numerous requests with support to make sure the website
                      is up to date. So far they obviously havent listened so I will keep requesting it.

                      Question.. What does "Optimize network connection effect" mean? Also, it suggests we Reset Configuration. Can someone please give the reason why if these are just bug fixes? What Bug Fixes were implemented cause I don't see any changes when the cameras updated..

                          @railfan-arizona_485965826351268 That means that they have improved the network connectivity protocol when establishing communication with the camera. Maybe this is the outcome of complaints raised by customers. Normally Reolink recommends to opt for resetting the configuration after an upgrade. This may be due to the fact that some upgrades may include new parameters or may create conflicts with the existing settings. However, if you really need more details then I suggest you to email Reolink support.
