      New PC client was release V8.19.5
      Have added to download list- https://community.reolink.com/topic/14683/client-update?post_id=35041&_=1754201931382
      I have also request a change log for what has updated.

          @big_ted There are issues with this client. Horrible fonts, audio level, config wheel for ethernet connected cams disappeared, flipping between stretched and not-stretched mode, slower, etc. Downgraded to previous version. I don't know who tested this client before launching it.

            So my reply from support:
            The update v8.19 for the Reolink Windows Client is mainly used to be compatible with Reolink professional series, like the camera model RP-PCB8M. And it fixed the wrong text/explanation for the "Record audio" option, as this option applies to the recording feature only for some of the models.

            Hopefully a new version will get released without the bugs/problems created with this version too.
            For the Mac people, I have been advised a new Mac version is due to be released shortly too.

                @big_ted @joseph_1979 I ask myself, how can anyone want to launch and sell professional products if the client doesn't support them or creates problems? Do they want to continue having the client apps and firmware managed by underpaid, inexperienced amateurs? I'd say it's a terrible image, and they certainly don't gain any reputation. Are we hoping for a new version? Christmas isn't that far away.

                  @mamymam2013_465350299701478 We have already shown our concerns and forwarded suggestions of what we need and how to improve. We also offered our support to test subject to our availability since we have our commitments. But we can allocate free time slots as we find here to assist based on our experience and skills. Recall that we are customers like you and we do not have access to any specific documentation other than what is available on the Internet.

                      @joseph_1979 I have no idea if it's a revised or corrected version, but a few minutes ago, if you search for a new version from the Windows client, it shows it's available and if you proceed, it downloads it. If it's changed and fixed the bugs, that's great, but if it's the faulty one full of bugs and problems, I wonder who the crazy person is who made it available online.

                        Im pretty sure the version that attempts to auto update in the client is the faulty version. Support said they are trying to fix the issues and release a new version so dont think has happened yet

                          @big_ted They should remove it from their repository until the issues are sorted out. I don't know why they leave it to be downloaded or upgraded.

                            @big_ted there is 8.19.6 and still with issues. At least the fonts have been reverted to previous style.

                                @joseph_1979 We all make mistakes, but despite an initial report that the client was terrible and malfunctioning, what does Reolink do? They modify the fonts and change the version number. There are only two possibilities. Either the developers are crazy, or they're just incompetent idiots.

                                  @mamymam2013_465350299701478 In the past I have developed a lot of applications and never had such issues. I used to dedicate substantial time for testing and including logging so if a bug occurs I get the logs from the client and investigate what went wrong. In a day I provide a solution. I would say...those were the days. Today they are merely on the same wavelength. This generation is totally different.

                                    @joseph_1979 Exactly, Joseph, one day, but whatever the problem, they can't always be solved; it takes months, sometimes years, and so I'm not just talking about clients, but also apps and firmware. In fact, it seems like they're aiming for the Oscar for poor performances and customer losses. This is evidenced by the fact that here where we write, no one from the company posts, putting their face forward and personally responding to problems and legitimate customer complaints.

                                      @mamymam2013_465350299701478 I have never came across any engineer from Reolink at Reddit, here or facebook communities. These are all managed by moderators who are customers and have no access to documentation. Our answers are based on experience and the knowledge we built through our education. And we do it voluntarily as we love support others wherever possible.

                                        @joseph_1979 It definitely seems like they revel in making endless mistakes. You report that the client isn't working and has serious problems, and they release another version that fixes one thing but leaves the other issues intact. It seems like a company run by kids playing around, not a properly managed company that cares about the customer, who is the one who gives them their money. Let me give you another example of Reolink's absurd way of thinking. I recently purchased 2 new E1 zoom 4k IPC_NT14NA48MPSD6 and every time the camera maintenance program starts automatically every week, upon reboot, the camera is not focused. I reported the problem to support but they told me the usual bullshit and the usual stupid and useless tests to do, and the only solution they suggested I try disabling the autofocus in the settings in the system menu - maintenance. Now I say I'm reporting a problem to you which is actually an old bug that has always affected all the latest series of the E1 Zoom and instead of apologizing and working in no time and releasing a corrective firmware, what do you do? Nothing. Always very long waiting times and mostly obvious and idiotic responses. I don't know if any of you have tested or are testing the new pro series, because I'd be curious to know how they go. In my opinion, but I could be wrong, I think the problems encountered will be more or less the same.

                                          @mamymam2013_465350299701478 I haven't been asked to test any pro cameras. Whenever I am given one I do rigorous testing and provide feedback. Then it is up to the dev team to take action.

                                          The fonts are truly horrible. I thought it was just me so came here to check because I couldn't remember what the previous version was like.

                                          I hope they get it fixed and unless someone was complaining about it why change it. It was the first thing I noticed when the programmed opened.

                                          Please change it back.

                                            This client is complete and utter garbage and you should remove it immediately from your downloads. Do you not test anything? Go ahead and use the client yourselves with a fisheye camera in multi view and tell me if you think that should be sent to the general public.

                                            Please invest some time and money in QC in your coding. It is at time horrible, and this is coming from someone who supports MS products for a living.
