@reolink-fiona Hope you can also add custom sound support, so you can play audio files on the doorbell when pressed. Fun for haloween and x-mas

@reolink-fiona This is awesome news as I have ask your support multiple times and was just about the purchase a Unifi G4 Pro doorbell.Furthermore on Brian's suggestions would be
Nice to haves:
Thanks for making products we all want!
@reolink-fiona POC and ONVIF please.
@ckam_ca_242158725816541 Yep, PoE and ONVIF support are available on the doorbell
@tenback_266134903410848 Not sure if we can add some holiday ringtone to the doorbell at the moment. But you will be able to record a voice message via the phone app and set up the doorbell to play the voicemail.
This has arrived just in time . We are currently looking at doorbell cameras for a house we are just starting to build but ATM the moment are possibly moving over to Ubiquity. Already having a Reolink NVR setup, a Reolink doorbell would be a much better option.A good feature to have would be dual camera. A second camera facing down to see if a package has been delivered on the doorstep. A motion sensing light would also be great
@admgeo_136805241430192 @mrbopsable_441871476973728 @Perry_384151658524874 Thank you for all your suggestions!
@reolink-fiona +1 for POE version.
@reolink-fiona is there any sort of timeline of when this is expected to be released or is it still in early stages of development?
@admgeo_136805241430192 It will be available in late April or early May. Stay tuned!
Great! Definitely looking forward to it. I certainly hope there is a 24/7 POE version! Do you need early testers?
@aaron There will be a PoE version with 24/7 recording. The trial program is not decided yet. You can pay attention to our announcement or see the news on the trial page, Reolink Trial - Reolink.
That's great, thank you for the update.
@reolink-fiona Would love to see support for MQTT as this would make smart home integration easier for software like Home A*sistant.
@reolink-fiona I think this is a great start, I would love to see the possibility of a dual camera doorbell. I know that Eufy is the few to do this and I think that reolink can blow it out of the water in this category. The video quality is key so 2K wide angled lens is the way to go. Alot of doorbell users want to get away from the subscription based doorbells (google, ring etc) The market is huge in this category and I know it will make all reolink users extremely happy. There is no doubt that if you can improve on what other doorbell cameras are missing than you will see a lot of conversions and revenue on this potential product. I myself am waiting patiently because I can't stand my google doorbell, and I was about to go to Eufy with their new dual camera doorbell but their HDR quality is terrible. I highly recommend looking at some video reviews of Eufy Dual Camera and see what is missing. The link below is a well documented review of the pros and cons of the Eufy system. I know Reolink will excel in bringing a superior doorbell camera to the market. Cannot wait!!!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzwAEs3TtE0Last but not least, I think customization is key to separating from the market. Google allows you to do themes such as a Christmas or Halloween Theme. I would like to see a step further, allowing a custom ringtone or audio recording for when the doorbell is pressed for the guest to hear. Alternatively, notification chime on smart devices could be a custom or theme selection as well. I swear the nerds of the world will buy this like crazy if you can use your favorite movie theme song or audio recording. Small feature in the grand scheme as I know a lot of others have posted more technical and security features that I agree are essential for protection and tampering.
@reolink-fiona I'd really like to have following features:Power: POE from Reolink NVRVideo Resolution: at least Full HD Audio: Two-way audio (with noise cancellation)Detection: Motion detection (+ AI detection)Storage: Reolink NVRSupport third-party software like HomeA*sistantThank you!
@reolink-fiona I would like it to connect to my NVR via CAT cable so it is in the same system as my other security cameras.

Please consider having a portrait mode which has a field of view tall enough to see if there is a package left on the doorstep as well as seeing a person’s face. Logitech had one like that but is not available in Canada. Very happy with our Argus 2 for the backyard!
@snuuuz_491893022724241 Thank you for the suggestion, snuuuz. We are sorry that we may not make this feature on this doorbell.
Great if your doorbell can show this:
@snuuuz_491893022724241 head to to video is a must however, seems according to this page - https://reolink.com/product/reolink-video-doorbell/ it's not happening. If the doorbell doesn't have head to toe video I'll keep shopping around
Yeah exactly like this one, but better, also with apple homekit integration , else no point. The logitech suffers from heating problems, hence not being available in europe right now... circle view 2? All other doorbells on the market can't show package on the floor left behind by courier. Only logitech circle view capable of doing that. Anything else is useless and a waste of money.
Hiits a very very good news and if we can to integrated In Reolink environment will be great.some addthe quality of the sound, please focus on this topic as you can do for the videonight vision in colour, importantPoe power it is niceexternal ring bellpossibility to command a door, important tooif you want I am open to test it for freethanks in advanceA Reolink fan

Thank you for all your support and suggestions! I will collect your requests and forward them to the product team!
Would love to see a wireless doorbell camera to mount to our gatepost.
Will this doorbell camera have SIP interface a possibilty to open the door by a code?have a nice day
@metal-me_488723804848306 I doubt it will communicate with a lock. Maybe a future model will.
It is a real pitty reolink did not come up with a doorbell camera any sooner, so i already purchased a a other brand. But beter late then never.I would like:
Please, make the WiFi connectivity reliable enough so it can really used. I have tried a few WiFi doorbells, and WiFi option is useless, even though you install an access point just a few meters away from the doorbell. For the rest of features, the community is asking for very good options, so as long as you take them in account, I believe you will have an awesome doorbell in your products catalogue. Thanks!
@balimelón_362138258030731 Hello there, thank you for the suggestion. The video doorbell that we are going to release will support dual-band WiFi for a more stable network connection.
Would love if it was waterproof as my front door does not have good protection from the elements. Pretty please!
@spoony_418205715329254 It shall be weatherproof but it is best to add some additional protection for it.
RTSP and ONVIF essentialWiFi and ethernet optionsPoE and bell transformer power options +/- PSU (?USB) delivered powerIR +/- consider lightGoogle home compatibility with bell push switch and motion sensor+ wireless chime unit to go with it (battery, plug-in or USB powered)I'll buy it.
@dmahon_177079460831370 Thank you so much for your feedback. I will collect your demand and forward them to the team.
reolink doorbell cam wishlistPOE/NVR set upwifi dual bandcolour night visiongood field of viewnotifications with the preview of face of the person at the door2k wifi wired version or 4K POE versionmodern design. Slim clear two way talkplug in chime or support for Google, Alexa, Apple HomeKit devices to alert when doorbell is pressed. possibly through Matter support facial recognition would be great. AI detection some form of alarm on the chime or doorbell would be good too
Great idea…. You must have listened to my suggestion last year!!! In addition to the product specs suggested & promised (POE etc), please can I request the highest possible IP weatherproof rating available & a robust casing with strong fixtures to prevent damage etc? Thanks & I’ll be placing an order as soon as they’re available
PoE and a b**ton in the UI to activate a doorlock/gate opener/relay directly from the feed. Two ways I see this could be implemented:a) a software feature, sending a trigger to whatever smarthome hub yo have Reoling integrated with (Alexa, GH, Homey, Home A*sistant etc.)b) a physical 5v relay in the unit like the DoorBird has
Hi,Current feature list: Basic Version Doorbell Camera (underlines are notes) :
Requested Feature list:
Optional but not make it or break it requests:
@mahyar-kamalinafar_497357698289841 meant wide angle (landscape) instead of vertical (portrait).
@mahyar-kamalinafar_497357698289841 Thank you so much for your suggestions. I will forward it to the team.
@Reolink-Fiona & @Reolink-Lorenz Will you incorporate a b**ton in the UI to activate a doorlock/gate opener/relay directly from the feed? (Sending trigger/command through API to Alexa, Google, Homey, Home A*sistant etc. for activation of relay)
@cwleth_495534361215110 The software details haven't been completed now. If there is something news, we will let you know.
@cwleth_495534361215110 THIS please!!! Having an unlock b**ton in the same screen as the camera on the app (e.g. for a wifi relay or even electric strike power out) would be a game changer - none of the compet*tion do this (that I can find)
Love this! Please ensure the doorbell camera will be able to be included/added to existing camera views on our Reolink app. Would be advantageous if for the doorbell will be powered by AC (110-220v) or wireless (batteries) and provide compet*tive video quality. I'm predominately looking for a doorbell that can set an auto message on movement detection i.e. "Your image is being recorded". Also, please make this available worldwide. I don't know why some security doorbells have "for USA only". Seems the USA feels they have the market cornered on theft/crime? Unfortunately theft/crime exists wherever there is temptation.
@watersedge121_400503233634478 The doorbell can be added to the Reolink APP. And of course, the doorbell will be available worldwide. Thank you for your feedbcak.
I cannot believe. I think I wrote an email to Reolink asking for a smart doorbell 2/3 months ago. To me was a perfect integration with camera systems, and the reply was: "we will think about it". I said, OK usual nice version for "do not disturb us" but they are actually doing it.I am amazed and thrilled to see what will be the outcome. For sure, one of the first customer that will buy it for my new home, that will be ready in September. So perfect match. You guys rock. Listening customers is the right strategy. Respect Thank you and I pinned the post :- ).
Some features to suggest if not already considered; - 2-way audio to Reolink app - 2-way audio with Google A*sistant / Android platform - 2-way audio and video stream with Google Nest Hub - 2- way audio and video stream with Alexa - bell press notification to Reolink app - bell press noficiation to Google A*sistant / routine integration - bell press immediate video stream display on Google Nest Hub - bell press alarm to Google Home audio devices - bell press alarm to Alexa - 3rd party routine link e.g. press bell will trigger Shelly relay to open a gate (option to toggle this setting enable/disable) Looking forward to seeing your next product.
