The new firmware (v3.0.0.2033_23041302), released May7th 2023, made an immediate impact on false recordings. My doorbell was falsely recording persons when none were present. I took all the usual measures to reduce them - sensitivity, detection zone, etc., to no avail.Since I installed the firmware, no such events have happened. Please pass my thanks to your tech team. Keep up the good work!
The firmware scope speaks about visitor notifications on Google, but when someone rings my doorbell still nothing happens on the Nest hub. Is this supposed to work with the latest FW or is that not yet part of the feature set?
Agree, is there any update as it appears some of the smart home integration needs a back-end update. Its been almost 2 months since this firmware was released (the corrected version).Really need Google Home integration. And to be recognized as a doorbell with button press to live view.
@reolink-fionaIt appears more functionality is working. I can view the live feed in the Google Home app as a camera; Chromecasting to a screen works too.Google Home now recognizes the doorbell as a doorbell device, and a doorbell press as a starter for an automation, but it doesnt work. The routine never runs, like Google is not seeing the button press. Is this a work in progress/bug?
How is it that this firmware still isn't available for online upgrade via my NVR?!
No sirene mute and Alexa doesn't work. Very bad....
Does it now work when someone rings that the video automatically appears on the Amazon Echo devices?
Hi Reolink, Can we expect another firmware update in the future? I'd love to see extra API functionality allowing me to play recorded audio samples from within homeassistant. Additionally, myself, a co-workers and a friend who all have the Reolink doorbell. Two have the PoE doorbell, and myself have the wifi doorbell. When connecting the doorbell to Synology surveillance station using RTSP, we all experience the same issue. The doorbell becomes unavailable and disconnects at random moments throughout the day.Support first thought it was my power supply, but after replacing still the same. considering the people I know all have the same issue on a PoE doorbell, it seems more related to the RTSP stream. Feels like a buffer ov3trlow. overflow Can you provide feedback? Thanks, Tobias
2. ONVIF with two-way audio support using RTSP Many users ask for this and we have heard it. Try to use the two-way audio on third-party software with this new firmware.
Any way this feature can be added to other cameras linked the duo2, duo floodlight and other cameras that have a speaker and microphone?
I have got two-way audio working on my PoE doorbell within Home-Assistant. But after upgrading to the new firmware v3.0.0.3215_2401262241 I only can hear the microphone of the doorbell. Talking back with microphone of the iPhone to the doorbell does not work anymore. Maybe I do something wrong but after hours of trying I didn't get it work within Home-Assistant with WebRTC anymore. I will try downgrade the firmware and try again. Somebody same issues?
Thank you, this is effective for me and PS
