I'm undecided between a track mix wifi and the new e1 outdoor pro wifi6. I haven't found any reviews yet about the e1 outdoor pro. The track mix is not wifi 6 the other one is. Of course if a track mix wifi 6 version came out it wouldn't be bad. What do you think? I await your opinions. Thank you

@mamymam2013_465350299701478 This is actually a pretty easy decision. The Trackmix is definitely the better overall camera, especially if you plan to only have one camera at that angle as it's two cameras in one.
However, if you already have other cameras showing that angle or just want to use one purely to get detail on people's faces, then go with the E1 Outdoor Pro. The main benefit of this is that you can vary your zoom level so that it fits what you want perfectly. The trackmix has no actual zoom, it's a wide angle & a telephoto fixed lens (at 2.7x zoom relative to the wide angle lens). This means that if it's too zoomed in then you can't zoom out and you'll miss the detail that you're looking for if you wanted 2.2x zoom or 1.8x zoom etc.
Another thing is that at the maximum quality bitrate, the trackmix will take up almost 40% extra storage space. Lastly, the Reolink NVR makes all these cameras so much better. -
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Futhermore, wifi 6 doesn't make any difference as wifi 5 is more than fast enough. You're talking 700mbps vs 1100mpbs, however the maximum recording bitrate is only 11mbps for the trackmix's cameras and 8mbps for the E1 Outdoor Pro camera. As you can see, this shouldn't factor into your decision at all.

Umm, a detailed description of your needs would be a good place to start. Where you want to put it, what you want to see/accomplish with it, etc.

It's great to see that you're considering your options for a new Wi-Fi system. Choosing between the Track Mix Wi-Fi and the new E1 Outdoor Pro Wi-Fi 6 can be a tough decision, especially without reviews to guide you. I'll try to provide some insights that might help you make a choice:
- Wi-Fi 6 vs. Non-Wi-Fi 6: Wi-Fi 6 offers several advantages over previous Wi-Fi standards, including faster speeds, improved performance in crowded areas, and enhanced connectivity for multiple devices. If you have many smart devices or anticipate high network traffic, the E1 Outdoor Pro Wi-Fi 6 may be a more future-proof choice.
- Product Reputation: If the Track Mix Wi-Fi has a positive reputation and you've had a good experience with it, that's certainly something to consider. However, the introduction of Wi-Fi 6 in the E1 Outdoor Pro could provide improved performance and connectivity.
- Availability of Track Mix Wi-Fi 6: You mentioned that it would be an option if a Track Mix Wi-Fi 6 version were available. If you can wait or if it's in development, it might be worth considering.
- Reviews and User Feedback: While you haven't found reviews for the E1 Outdoor Pro, you may want to keep an eye out for reviews from trusted sources and user feedback once it becomes available. These can provide valuable insights into its performance and reliability.
In summary, the decision should be based on your specific needs and priorities. If you value the latest technology and future-proofing your network, the E1 Outdoor Pro Wi-Fi 6 might be a good choice. However, if you have a positive history with Track Mix and you're satisfied with its performance, sticking with it is also a valid option.
Keep an eye out for reviews, user feedback, and updates on the availability of a Track Mix Wi-Fi 6 version if you decide to wait. Your decision should ultimately align with your unique requirements and preferences.
I hope this helps you in making your choice. If you have any more questions or need further information, please feel free to ask.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@user_748557889581266_748557889581266 Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, it is actually difficult to choose. I haven't tried track mix wifi, but it seems like a high-performance and robust camera. The e1 outdoor pro despite the excellent quality and videos I've seen, if you compare it with track mix it seems more like a plastic toy. Of course, if an advanced version of Track Mix came out with WiFi 6 it would be the best. I haven't found any news on this from Reolink. In any case, waiting means delaying the installation, and therefore either I will do this or I will have to decide between the two. At the moment no one has reviewed the e1 outdoor pro on Amazon.

@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I have them both and I would recommend you the Trackmix especially if you shall be enabling the tracking feature. The E1 OD Pro has an issue whereby sometimes it will not return to its guard position and you need to adjust it manually. I did have this issue on the Trackmix but the occurrence is far lower. WIFI 5 or WIFI 6. The cameras don't require high bandwidth and if you don't have a lot of WIFI devices then you won't see much differences. What is needed it a good WIFI coverage at the camera. I have WIFI 5 and all my cameras are WIFI and have no issues of viewing the cameras at high resolution. So based on your requirements go to the specs of each camera and see which one suits you the best,

@joseph_1979 Thank you . Just bought Trackmix. Now after tried all client windows version (I use always 8.8.4 where i can choose stream quality and program keep this information on memory) I hope that Reolink will produce a new client that will works perfectly.
-
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 When connecting to the cameras from an external network, the client always defaults to FLUENT stream irrespective of what has been previously set. I do not think that they will change it. I did explain this in other articles.
-
@joseph_1979 Yes I know but last client windows is terrible. Direct x is old . I hope that will change and choose quality will be possible, also because why Reolink must be choose in this irrespective manner. Thnak you Joseph
Advice on camera choice, can you help me?
