@lbs2reolink Mine seems a little unpredictable after the power recycles. Otherwise it stays on the network I made it connect to. One time after a power failure at the location it's at, it connected to the 5Ghz when I had set it up to connect to the 2.4Ghz. It wouldn't have done that if I wouldn't have entered the 5Ghz password at an earlier time to check it out. I wanted it to stay on 2.4 because the signal was stronger. You'll probably have to reset the network settings in the camera settings to get rid of the old networks and passwords saved in it. The last time there was a power failure, the camera lost connection and I had to drive to the location and turn off a circuit breaker to recycle the camera power because it's 20ft. up on a pole. There wasn't a problem with the router or repeater because I only recycled the camera to get my wifi connection back. It definitely needs a firmware update to fix the connection problem after a power outage or recycle. I never dare recycle it intentionally from home because I might end up having to drive a couple miles to reset the camera.
@big_ted Only the 2.4 GHz won't connect to my S20 phone or the camera but connects to other devices. 5Ghz connects. It does connect to an older android tablet. The problem appears to be with some newer android devices as far as I can tell. The camera is at a remote location and is working on 5Ghz so I will probably leave it like that.
It would be helpful for me if the camera had a second zone that could be selected to record only when movement is detected without sending an alert. I would like to record passing trains and a railroad crossing but I don't need an alert for that. I use the current record/alert function for just the parking lot that's close to the railroad crossing.Also, my RLC-510WA can't connect to a router that's configured as a repeater. I'm guessing that it may have the same problem as some Android phones. They give the message that it couldn't authenticate the connection. The camera doesn't give a message. It just fails to connect to the repeater. It connects fine to the main router or other wifi. I know the repeater/router is configured correctly because Windows computers and iPhones can connect to it without a problem.

@email_525317533946102 I think I may have fixed this problem by renaming the 5Ghz network so the camera can't connect to it. Both networks had the same names before.
When my camera reboots, the wifi signal is much weaker than the previous connection which I manually chose because of the strong signal strength. It's connecting to the same network as before so how can it be weaker? Is it reconnecting to the 5Ghz instead of 2.4Ghz? How do I stop the camera from using 5Ghz? How do I know which band it's using?
@reolink-fiona That worked. Thank you.
Is there a way to make the view always default to Fluent when I open the client? Mine always opens to Standard, and I can't use Standard because my provider's upload speed is very slow and the video freezes a lot. I always have to switch it to Fluent.
