@chris-norris270_659249440973712 I have this E1 OD too and yes the guard position deviates after a number of tracking and one has to re-adjust the guard position manually. So far I didn't get any solution from support and it seems to be a gear issue. My personal opinion.
@user_773755215593672_773755215593672 Unfortunately the issue is still being experienced even with the E1 OD Pro (but occurrence is far less). It is rather difficult to eliminate completely through fw upgrades. They have to re-design the gearing mechanism.
@coolque_441678449471730 I have the E1 OD and I have disabled the tracking feature. I don't think that this can be sorted out through a fw upgrade. The occurrence may be reduced by changing the tracking method (Track object if it goes out of FOV) but it won't solve it altogether. A new gearing mechanism will sort it. My personal opinion.
@chopstix Have you captured a wireshark trace to see that you are able to at least communicate with the NVR? Are you able to trace at the NVR too? Try to use upnp but this is not secured. It still uses UDP ports. The easiest solution is to change mobile operator. Never came across a mobile operator blocking udp ports. If not possible then you have to use VPN. You may ask support to see if they are able to allow only TCP on your NVR. But then forget any updates.
@chopstix Disable upnp. Not needed. Eh.. a trace will definitely help. Would you be able to go on-site and connect your PC and check you are able to connect to other cameras...eg your home cameras.
@kimchigun I fully agree. Both IR and LED.
@chopstix If you need us to analyse the Wireshark trace let us know. We are experts :). This is fun. I cannot jot down the protocols I studied and came across so far.But be careful of some logins :). This is peanuts.... and at 54....you have up. Never give up learning. Not so much customers come to this community. The most active one is at Reddit. The moderator mbaster is quite busy answering queries and testing new products. They have even a technical guy from Reolink who provides technical details the moderators are unable to give. In this community we never had any such technical support other than us..... what we learnt through our experience in using some of the Reolink products.
@kimchigun Correct. I lack time to experiment due to my specialised work.
@reolink-alyson Another line up. Let's see how their AI algorithms perform compared to the ones we are accustom to.
@kimchigun Hope that Alison will provide us with some units to test. This shall enable us to get more experience which shall help us to assist customers. Uh... I wish I can slow down but being a workaholic what to expect :).
@billing_392289715716327 Can you please let me know the model of cameras you tested out? I never tested out that scenario. Thanks.
