@brett-hyink_464759829713142 I have no issue to view my cameras through my 4Gand 5G smartphones. It not only depends on Reolink but there is also the WIFI at home, the copper or fibre path from home to the BB service provider, routing within its IP Core backbone, the interconnect from this ISP to the mobile operator IP backbone, from the mobile operator IP backbone to its Packet core (MME, SGW, PGW), from its Packet core to its Radio network and from the Radio network to your smartphone.
@rainman If you want to have full access to the files then remove the SD from the camera and insert it in the SD slot of the computer. Otherwise you have read permission from the clients.
@reolinkshayla I still have the Argus 2 and they are still working without any issue. From 1080p to 12MP in just 5 years. Who knows where we will be in 5 years time!!
@seb_526812765704330 I have informed them too. If I have the source code ( I program in C++) I will also add the schedule when it is triggered by motion or cameras. few lines of coding..... It doesn't make sense to switch on the floodlight at daylight.
@rainman Through CGI you can only obtain the SD capacity but no more. There is no access to Linux. To know what's stored on SD just insert it in your SD slot of the PC. You just see files. No folders.
@robertklep_679384755609789 Email support and they will assist you.
@legoguy_24916305373 I fully agree with your analysis and this is what I concluded. Note that I am not an employee of Reolink but a customer like you and assisting members of the community based on my engineering/software skills. Would you be able to collect event logs from Windows or any logs which might be of interest for Reolink to investigate and sort out the issue with their client? Perhaps if you record a video it will help them. Then email Reolink support.
@andrewadventure_658285543473233 I had an issue whereby one barely hears me at the doorbell but I heard him normally at the mobile side. Reolink gave me a firmware upgrade and in the Android client they added the speaker volume control.
@user_750102319055027_750102319055027 Exactly, what does matter is sensor size. A 16 MP compact isn't ever going to be as good as a 12 MP Full Frame DSLR. The size of sensor that a camera has ultimately determines how much light it uses to create an image. Therefore, it stands to reason that a bigger sensor can gain more information than a smaller one and produce better images.So larger sensors can help capture better quality images, but they bring with them a number of other characteristics, some good and some bad. The first, and most obvious impact of a bigger camera sensor is that of size; not only will the sensor take up more room in the device, but it will also need a bigger lens to cast an image over it. The cost of producing bigger sensors also means that devices packing them also have a bigger price-tag. Bigger sensors can also be better for isolating a subject in focus while having the rest of the image blurred.
@seb_526812765704330 Correct. It was working fine on a previous version but now whenever you click on the notification it will take you to the live view. They need to fix it.
@andrewadventure_658285543473233 Send an email to Reolink support. They are quick to reply during working days.
@kyra_lan Thanks a lot. People who are crazy enough to think they can change the world in security, are the ones who do. So do it Reolink.
@viswa_660432243101703 Maybe they carried out maintenance on their servers. I have already suggested that they should somehow inform the clients about planned maintenance. I had an issue with push message notification and I did a trace and noticed that the alert was being sent by the cameras but there was no push notification sent by their application servers towards google FCM. They said that they will alert the customers of such maintenance.

@s-stoessler_71959255531 Email them.
@ed_682671253913811 From the error code I knew what was the issue. Note that I am not an employee of Reolink but a customer like you :). I am here to give my support based on my engineering and software skills...give me thumb up so I will have a Christmas gift....ha ha ha joking.Good to know you are now streaming.... if you have a nice stream...share it here.
@gaël-vanhuynegem_409453155840166 Can you check whether you have sealed correctly the reset button? Maybe you have moisture and is keeping the firmware in cyclic reload. Try to spray some contact cleaner.
@big_ted Normally the auto update has rarely been activated unless they push the upgrade to the appropriate repository for auto download.
@ed_682671253913811 So the peer is receiving the RTSP request but refusing connectivity. Ensure you have the RTSP enable. Go to the PC Client>>Network settings>>Advanced>>Network Ports to enable the RTSP ports. Ensure you have the latest firmware installed. I would still email support to check whether you have the latest one. sometimes the ones shown in the download center are not the latest. Of course the credentials are never dumped in logs.Previously there was the possibility to see (netstat) which ports are open by exporting the diagnostic log but this has been removed.
@stef Please email Reolink support and ask them for the recent firmware for E1 OD. Just include the hardware version. Keep cameras and clients updated.I guess they were from different batches. But anyhow it is easy to upgrade once you have the file.
