@building-a_142124144668895 best way forward is to implement the de-facto standard for IoT messaging which is MQTT. But have no idea when Reolink shall be embarking on this. Competitors already started to deploy it.
@user_640589945716798_640589945716798 Kindly note that Reolink cameras support FTP and FTPS. SFTP is not supported. You can use Cerberus FTP server for file transfer using FTPS.
@nacster_1969 We have requested this for both the client and the firmware. Hope we see this implemented.
@user_617216361168971_617216361168971 A shadow is defined as a contour of an object that forms due to the blockage of a light source. The setting here is used to manipulate the light source, exposure of the shadow to add or remove darkness from the image, and the increased dramatic depth of the image.
@adsdslandicas_607820684710066 Argus 3 Pro is a fantastic camera but as I told you you have an issue to watch the video and get an alert that the canera has been triggered. Going on-site and get the camera from a pole, pull out the SD and read it through a PC is absolutely impractical. You need communication and in your case this should be through mobile data. In this scenario Argus 3 pro is not a good option. You need the Reolink GO PT Plus. You may wish to visit the Reolink site and read its description. As for 128GB SD, it's a good choice. You have for at least a month unless it is triggered frequently.
@jedi2020_32727772450952 This is what I do too. I download and keep the upgrades.....they are not that big so no space issue.
@mattdm_579588790694198 Wording is wrong...should be default or factory settings.
@user_617650665832448_617650665832448 Under Push and Email (if used) untag any motion. Just detect person, vehicle and pet. And if there are false alarms on person use the alarm delay under alarm settings.
@jp_303544246644872 I fully agree and I did a similar request in the past. I will inform them again. It would be appreciated if you make a feature request at https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/
@curls You can achieve this on Android client by re-order the cameras to your requirements until the feature will be implemented.
@quizzical In my case the issue was from both mic and as stated the new upgrade did solve the volume. Kindly report it you Reolink support.
@info_526910647251162 Yes, this is missing together with the capability of using the existing chime. It should provide a loop for the existing chime to sound.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Ha ha ha............. now you know it. The only source of knowledge is experience.
@seb_526812765704330 I think 5 chimes to a single doorbell. Please check chimes availability on the site.
@jimbrown-net In my opinion you should address this requirement to Reolink support.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Sure. Just change false to true. If the applications runs then you can change it through the client general options menu. Normally the first option is used if the screen goes black immediately.
@aymen_647614801764433 Because it is based on the signal strength. I sort it out by having distinct SSID for 2.4G and 5G and I have set it to the 5G SSID.
@joseph_1979 Thanks Ted. Reolink should implement this at the earliest. Most brands have it now.
@user_634160500043891_634160500043891 You're welcome. We try to help wherever possible. To sort such issues one must have the appropriate logs generated at the camera and of course traces at the cam side (mobile signalling I know it quite well :).
@seb_526812765704330 According to its specs, it provides 25W per port and this is more than adequate to power up the entities you have stated above. It also supports both IEEE 802.3 af/at interfaces. From your list only floodlight has 'at' interface. Max power consumed by those cam < 12W while the floodlight consumes < 25W.
