@stef Please email Reolink support and ask them for the recent firmware for E1 OD. Just include the hardware version. Keep cameras and clients updated.I guess they were from different batches. But anyhow it is easy to upgrade once you have the file.
@email_525317533946102 Just one, the Reolink battery Trackmix plus 4G with big solar panel.I have the Argus 3 Pro and Ultra together with DUO 2 battery model and I untag motion detection. Only AI as otherwise I will receive an avalanche of false alarms.
@reolink-lorenz These panoramic cameras are really marvelous. What I wish to see is to have full screen in view mode and having a stronger mounting.
@user_653223226212358_653223226212358 You see. I was confident that your firmware was quite old. Then enjoy and let us know if you need further clarifications. Occasionally email support to see if there is a firmware update. Sometimes the download center site is not updated.
@kimchigun We have requested this for each detection object together with a schedule for sensitivity. Maybe during the night one needs to increase the sensitivity.I suggest you to submit your request to support. The more requests they get from customers the higher the probability of being implemented.
@laphunhon_689657095459000 I suggest you to send these requests to Reolink support. They prioritise features in accordance to the number of requests received. We have already proposed these features.Rich notification is awesome with action. This, of course, requires further processing at their application servers and may require a subscription. This is being done for WIFI doorbell.I recall old Android clients which when clicking on the notification , it used to take you to the recorded video but I cannot understand why this has been removed. We also requested that when a user select the playback, the client should point to the last clip.Event logging is required for cases where the object has been detected by various cameras and you want to go through in accordance to the sequence of events.Motion tagging is under development and we hope to see it soon. Most probably this will be on new cameras. Maybe Lorenz can provide further details on when this shall be available
@user_679517071716589_679517071716589 All you need is Filezilla/Cerberus ftp server application running on a PC and allow the cameras to upload the recorded files via FTP/FTPS. Moreover there are cloud FTP hosting services which you can subscribe to until Reolink upgrade their cloud service to accept all Reolink models.
@ml_812798949916887 According to their roadmap, this shall be available during 2Q2024.
@reolinkshayla I still have the Argus 2 and they are still working without any issue. From 1080p to 12MP in just 5 years. Who knows where we will be in 5 years time!!
Virgin Media VM routers till HUB 5 don't support POE on their Ethernet port (most home BB routers eg Sagemcom, Thompson, etc don't support POE) and so you need to purchase a POE switch (if the camera is POE) or a POE injector if the camera doesn't support POE but have an Ethernet port (data) and power port. Ensure that the POE injector/switch can support both the 802.3at and 802.3af in active mode as Reolink have some models which support one mode and not the other. Moreover check that the power output of the POE injector/switch meets the power requirements of the camera. Which E1 model you have purchased? I have the E1 OD and this doesn't support POE. Data and power are distinct and so here you need a POE injector. Note that the voltage is at 12V and it consumes around 1A at max load.....so you need 12W as the power output of the injector. Reolink have a range of camera models you can choose from. Ensure that you know well your requirements and try to find the model which suits you most. Battery operated cams are flexible and useful where there is no power outlets in the vicinity. But they have their downfalls too. They cannot record continuously and lack the pre-recording (say 15s) before the camera is triggered. So if the object passes the FOV quickly then you might miss the object. And yes battery operated cams don't support FTP/S but can store the video on to the internal SD or the cloud. I still cannot understand why they can store it to the cloud and not to an FTP server. Anyhow it's their strategy and design.
@neil_chaplin_is_450076909830276 Unfortunately this is not yet available. I have already suggested support to have1. A scheduler for each recording object type2. A scheduler for detection zone for each object type3. A scheduler for sensitivity for each object type4. A scheduler for the push/email notification for each object type5. A scheduler for the scene mode
@robertklep_679384755609789 Email support and they will assist you.
@kevin_476142842638551 Good.
@user_797298437054680_797298437054680 Only tracking is available on the TrackMix.
@user_750102319055027_750102319055027 Exactly, what does matter is sensor size. A 16 MP compact isn't ever going to be as good as a 12 MP Full Frame DSLR. The size of sensor that a camera has ultimately determines how much light it uses to create an image. Therefore, it stands to reason that a bigger sensor can gain more information than a smaller one and produce better images. So larger sensors can help capture better quality images, but they bring with them a number of other characteristics, some good and some bad. The first, and most obvious impact of a bigger camera sensor is that of size; not only will the sensor take up more room in the device, but it will also need a bigger lens to cast an image over it. The cost of producing bigger sensors also means that devices packing them also have a bigger price-tag. Bigger sensors can also be better for isolating a subject in focus while having the rest of the image blurred.
@ks This has been solved in the new Android client 4.35.0.7 by adding the volume control. This shall be shortly available in google play.
@user_690764225642642_690764225642642 Unfortunately the schedule under shortcuts hasn't yet been implemented. Last year we have asked for it in a survey and so far we didn't see it implemented. Maybe for them this is not of a high priority.
@kyra_lan Thanks a lot. People who are crazy enough to think they can change the world in security, are the ones who do. So do it Reolink.
@jfbaro_664228245382261 Not yet. No dates provided so far.
@mlandman_783462893965538 submit your request to support on support @ reolink . ComThis is what we normally do. The more requests the higher the probability of being implemented.
