@faasio82_480971996033257 Downloading of high res files is either a bandwidth issue or a phone issue. I can download both H.264 and H.265 files in high resolution modes on my Android smartphones without any issue. Ensure that the application stays open as otherwise file transfer stops and won't restart again. And for the second problem I do agree that the application needs more refinement when playing video. Sometimes it appears as slow motion. Even during live stream at high resolution the voice sometimes get chopped. I did inform support on it and hopefully they sort it out.
@reolink-oskar We really miss Wild Life. Awesome video.
@marco-bologni_627616607150391 together with SIP calling.
@building-a_142124144668895 best way forward is to implement the de-facto standard for IoT messaging which is MQTT. But have no idea when Reolink shall be embarking on this. Competitors already started to deploy it.
@user_767315643302074_767315643302074 The detection is based on PIR which has a range of around 10m (when set to max sensitivity). In your case the object is out of the detection IR pattern of the PIR and subsequently the camera will not continue to record. But if you stay within the detected range then it should continue to record.
@gbee_140374135459980 RLC-811A/TrackMix are quite good but before concluding have a look at the comparison sheet prepared by a moderator at the Reddit Reolink community. https://www.reddit.com/r/reolinkcam/comments/z6caqk/reolink_specs_comparison_charts/
@user_617216361168971_617216361168971 A shadow is defined as a contour of an object that forms due to the blockage of a light source. The setting here is used to manipulate the light source, exposure of the shadow to add or remove darkness from the image, and the increased dramatic depth of the image.
@reolink-oskar Yeah. Reolink set to revolutionise the home surveillance with Dual lens security cams and they are surprisingly affordable. And mostly no subscription at all. So flexible. However, we wish to see a higher vertical FOV in new releases. Keep it UP. Thanks.
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 So far nothing. We are all waiting to test out the calling feature.
@mattdm_579588790694198 Wording is wrong...should be default or factory settings.
@user_788294888542437_788294888542437 Calling feature shall be available with the new firmware which shall be released this month (according to Reolink announcements).
@curls You can achieve this on Android client by re-order the cameras to your requirements until the feature will be implemented.
@user_792702754615469_792702754615469 What is the sensitivity for smart detection? The one you showed in low is for motion detection.I see 3s is a bit too much and I will use the object size too. You need some patience till you find the optimal setting.
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Ha ha ha............. now you know it. The only source of knowledge is experience.
@laurent-rullier_363104639807654 If the POE switches are connected to the router, connect the NVR LAN port to the either the router or to any of the POE switch. Then be careful about the DHCP if this is activated on the router. You can have one DHCP on a network unless you are quite competent in networking.eg
@user_585783633887262_585783633887262 Sure. Just change false to true. If the applications runs then you can change it through the client general options menu. Normally the first option is used if the screen goes black immediately.
@seb_526812765704330 Correct. Sometimes the website is not updated. Every 4 months I request support to check whether there is any newer firmware for all my cameras.
@user_634160500043891_634160500043891 You're welcome. We try to help wherever possible. To sort such issues one must have the appropriate logs generated at the camera and of course traces at the cam side (mobile signalling I know it quite well :).
@user_746623229407444_746623229407444 Something went wrong. I cannot understand why they don't use the community to assist them in testing. There are brilliant people here who can assist without requesting anything.
