We replace equipment costing millions of Euros every 5 years. Suppliers will not extend their support and you have no option other than replace. This is the real world we are living in.

Its capacity cannot be increased by a new firmware upgrade but rather a new HW.

@crimp-on_62210811129 Because 8.10.2Beta runs in native mode (assuming 64bit OS) while 8.8.5 runs under the x86-32 emulator. In simple terms 8.10.2Beta is a 64bit client whilst 8.8.5 is a 32bit client. Therefore when you have upgraded to 8.10.2Beta this was rather a new installation and you still have the 8.8.5 in the 32bit directory. The installation program should have taken care of the deletion. The configuration is stored in the AppData and so no need to copy anything from the 32 to 64 bit directory.

@user_651630881726505_65163088172650 Having a POE switch between the camera and the NVR gives you the ability to control them directly as some features may not be readily available (individually) through the NVR. But you need to decide from where to control them.

@lobotomist Just a suggestion. Every say 3 months email Reolink support to check if there was any firmware update citing your hw and fw of your cameras. Sometimes the download center is not updated.
