@bphammon_407305005134019 These are old models and can support microSD with max capacity of 64GB.
@s-stoessler_71959255531 Correct. It's up to the individual to select which camera to purchase based on his/her requirements.
@rywolf01_258009613922457 It is rather difficult to continue upgrading old HW while at the same time keep pace with the new technology. This applies to all company in all sectors. We replace equipment costing millions of Euros every 5 years. Suppliers will not extend their support and you have no option other than replace. This is the real world we are living in.
@md Absolutely...........but one thing remained unchanged........The Salary :).
@bphammon_407305005134019 Always check the specifications. Both RLC-520A and RLC-410W support 256GB SD.
@ndr_690347593457817 Two days ago they released a new firmware. Have you installed it?
@bphammon_407305005134019 Check this out https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005143453-Choose-Micro-SD-Card-for-Reolink-Cameras/Its capacity cannot be increased by a new firmware upgrade but rather a new HW.
@lars_661084185067625 Can you send your request to Reolink support?
@crimp-on_62210811129 Because 8.10.2Beta runs in native mode (assuming 64bit OS) while 8.8.5 runs under the x86-32 emulator. In simple terms 8.10.2Beta is a 64bit client whilst 8.8.5 is a 32bit client. Therefore when you have upgraded to 8.10.2Beta this was rather a new installation and you still have the 8.8.5 in the 32bit directory. The installation program should have taken care of the deletion. The configuration is stored in the AppData and so no need to copy anything from the 32 to 64 bit directory.
@neil_chaplin_is_450076909830276 Mine was an upgrade from 8.8.5. So if you do a couple of changes on the first PC then you will reproduce it.
@meyer_161450607886522 Install the 64bit version from https://bit.ly/41LhWCh
@user_691429305987252_691429305987252 I update mine without any issue at all. However, I didn't reset the configuration.In your case if the camera is not back in operation then you need to restore it.
@paul_223190891585696 Note that a new firmware has been uploaded in the download center.
@user_690336118845693_690336118845693 Could be a solution if processing power is an issue but processor can handle it without any issue. It is rather a strategy/resource/priority issue.
@user_690432410329310_690432410329310 this is available on new firmware and client.
@anthony-benammar_658955233420318 Did you report it to Reolink support?
@wrathchild_34 No communication on this so far.
@user_651630881726505_65163088172650 Having a POE switch between the camera and the NVR gives you the ability to control them directly as some features may not be readily available (individually) through the NVR. But you need to decide from where to control them.
@lobotomist Just a suggestion. Every say 3 months email Reolink support to check if there was any firmware update citing your hw and fw of your cameras. Sometimes the download center is not updated.
@ben_690144155402440 Good to hear that.
