@j_haegele_657971761856547 Do you mean this?https://reolink.com/au/product/reolink-duo-3-poe/Question:When reolink will release a removable battery cam and can buy replacement battery from Reolink website? Argus 5?
@joseph_1979 hi mate, third email sent 6 days ago but no response, any PM to whom i can try?I tried support webchat too, no response.
@joseph_1979 Cheers, third email sent to support @ reolink.com to see if they will respond to me.This time I sent my email with concerns via webchat form as well.Re-checked junk box, nothing.
@joseph_1979 Hi mate, are you able to send a support ticket to reolink regards the cloud not recording more the 8 secs?I've sent them two support emails below but unfortunately, there is no response.Initial request sent 4/6/24, another follow up one sent 6/6/24 as per screenshot below
@joseph_1979 cheers, mate, not possible in the area, where 4G telstra upload not more than 10mbps
@big_ted how slow is that?will it be more than 20mbps or 10?I am considering to go with Starlink to replace the slow 5mbps fixed wireless upload?
@daniele-francesconi_370190851416246 check my answers to this post, it will clear your point.in summary, blue bar = solar panel connected, no flash/lightning icon means not enough sun light to generate charging (device not charged)green bar = dc power connected = with flash/lightning icon means the dc power is charging to devicesome depth discussion - check out my other typing in this post.
@imcneill_467871306096807 @spanciul_260353017975036 i did some tests the other day, it depends on how deep you plugged in the usb c cable.Plug the solar panel usb-c all the way in (there is dot on the usbc cable) = 'sun' icon (sun icon will be shown day and night and a 'lightning' icon when charging with Sun).Plug the same depth as the dc power usb-c cable = 'plug' icon (disappeared when there is no light, appeared with a 'lightning' icon when charging with Sun)Battery percentage shown will be about 15-20% less when you unplug the usb-c on this 'Sun' icon mode.(this has been discussed here:https://community.reolink.com/topic/4069/argus-3-pro-with-solar-panel-always-at-100-batteryand official answer is here: https://community.reolink.com/topic/1061/app-s-solar-battery-indicator-connected-to-solar-panel)
@user_756627276955783_756627276955783 you may send a support email to reolink to address this issue, it happens to me as well.or post your issue here:https://community.reolink.com/topic/12231/new-reolink-app-v4-45-releasedit should support 16-24 secs cloud video recording according to below when you set resolution to fluent.https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007808214-Can-I-Adjust-the-Length-of-the-Cloud-Recordings
Can you please advise, if the new app fixes the cloud video recording issue? It says in your Q&A below that it supports 16-24 secs cloud video recording for Argus 3 Pro and TrackMix LTE when set to fluent mode, however, it only upload 8 secs of video clip at the moment - this has been confirmed from several posts of different users.https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007808214-Can-I-Adjust-the-Length-of-the-Cloud-Recordings/
@joseph_1979 as i mentioned before, there is an issue with the cloud thing but no one at Reolink to look at, which i sent report before but no response.I set cam to fluent mode on cloud but still recoding 8 secs clip. However, it is clearly stated in the Q&A that in fluent mode, it supports cloud recording of 16-24 seconds.https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007808214-Can-I-Adjust-the-Length-of-the-Cloud-Recordings
Same issue here. But I can explain a bit more than reolink.Camera no. 1 and 3 connected with solar panels but showing DC power mode, for somehow we do not know how this happen, it maybe the depth of the USB C when you connected, this is showing as DC power charging instead of solar even solar has been connected. This mode is great (with plug icon and solid green bar shown), maybe it's not good for battery life but the battery percentage shown is the real and current and it will be charging even with small amount of Sun.I can not figure out how to make all my battery cameras at this DC power mode (with Solar panel connected), because I wish my all devices at the DC mode.Your number 2 picture, it is a solar panel connected mode, it designed and supposed to be like this when solar panel connected (with Sun icon and solid blue bar shown on app). However, on the solar mode, battery shown is 20% less than the actual battery, where you can unplug the USBC to see the real battery percentage, for example, when you unplugged, the battery percentage will be shown 80% (Real) While solar panel is connected , it will be shown 100% (forged?) , reolink says it is designed to protect battery life, so at 80% real battery percentage, the solar panel connected mode will not charging the device, this has been discussed on lots of threads before when I searched the forum. The solar mode, the solar panel is not actively charging the device, on some cloudy days it won't charge, but with DC mode , same cloudy days , it will still charge slowly.Hope it helps and reolink can make firmware update to address this issue, as it has been sitting there for years .
HI JosephI've sent two support ticket to reolink support team, one was 3 weeks ago and another one was 3 days ago but both has no response.one support ticket relates to below posthttps://community.reolink.com/topic/11875/free-cloud-video-post-motion-record-8-secsany hint?Cheers.
Battery cam,When I’m in live view mode, I notice that sometimes the cam records moving cars or people to the SD card, while other times it does notwhat's the norm?I would expect to see the camera will still record to the sd card when person/car is detected even i am in live view mode.thanks.
@joseph_1979 Thanks for the confirmation, i will send support an ticket.
@joseph_1979 Hi Joe,I have Reolink battery cameras, tested two cams on fluent mode, only supports 8 secs on basic plan. The link you provided me clearly stated fluent mode should support 48s, at least should be the same as the sd card post motion 30s.Any idea? thanks.Reolink battery cameras supporting the smart person/vehicle function8-10s/Video size ≤7M (about 48s)Four Reolink Cloud plans are available for your choice: Basic, Standard, Premier, and Business Plans. @joseph_1979 Thanks, but send support with another issue last week and never get answered......For a customer with four reolink products in portfolio....
Can I please write two suggestions on the mobile app cloud section:
For online portal it is OK, where both time and date are displayed for each video but for the mobile app, only time and file size are displayed (maybe display the date on the mobile app cloud video too?
