@crimp-on_62210811129 Is there any way to get a schematic of the RLC-423 so I can attempt a repair?
Personally I like the Reolink equipment but I have a RLC-423 that is just out of warrantee that I would like to get repaired. It just stopped. The other 4 cameras were not affected. Does Reolink have anyone that repairs?
@crimp-on_62210811129 Thanks for the reply. So. . . . Reolink is sales only?
This one quit working and I liked it so much I ordered another one. Works great. My question is -> Can I send it in to be repaired? Time wise it is out of warrantee. What do I do with it?Thank you.
@reolink-fiona Thank you - I will give the reset and the instructions a try. Thank you for your patience.
@zalmaflash_316143213592812 To explain more. Apparently I did something wrong on the initial out of the box startup. I do remember a "START up WIZARD" = and I cannot get it to show up again to start over. Is there a way to get it (start up wizard) back and some instructions that actually match so I can try it again? Do I need to send it in for reset?
@reolink-fiona I GIVE UP! Is there a way to completely start over from scratch - like new out of the box? Doing it all with just the cameras and monitor and a cat 5 patch cord connected to my router? This is not working for me.
@zalmaflash_316143213592812 Couldn't edit to add the os is windows 10. I also have an HP with windows 10 and have the same problem. I do not know how to "ping" something. Both of my comps are wireless connected to my router. The NVR is hooked direct to the router with a cat6 patch cable.
@crimp-on_62210811129 The computer is a laptop LENOVA.
@zalmaflash_316143213592812 i TRIED THAT AND IT CAME BACK "NO DEVICE FOUND". Then I also tried the UID of the NVR in lower case. Didn't work either. Now, I do have a home network that is just for my computers. But I don't think it has a name. Can you tell that I am confused?
@crimp-on_62210811129 Going to try it. Thanks
@reolink-fiona On the NVR "DDNS" settings it asks for a domain name, username, and password. I didn't know what to put there so I left it blank. When I press "Test if setup succeeded" I get a failed pop-up.What do I put in these spaces? I have the internet of course but I don't think I have a domain name?
@reolink-fiona Thank you for the reply. If I ever get "client" to work on my PC I will do the upgrade to the NVR.
Also the instructions for client do not seem to be downloadable.I'm doing something wrong and do not know what.
I am having no luck at all with getting "Client" to work with my NVR.1 year old system. POE, Ethernet cable from NVR to my router. If I disconnect the ethernet cable I get a warning on screen that there is no connection - so I assume the NVR is actually connected. I install Client on my PC and it never connects to the NVR. I have deleted and re-installed, entered the NVR UID when asked by Client and keep getting ERROR.I have updates available but cannot install because of no connection from Client to NVR.I'm at witts end and there was never a lot of witts to begin with.NVR is N3MB01.Any help will be really appreciated.
@chuck_529633235447953 I use a LOGITEC M310 and it works very well.
@reolink-fiona Thanks, I will try that.
I entered some wrong info into setting up my NVR. Cannot connect to the internet. (surely entered some faulty info). How do I reset my NVR to "new out of the box" condition and start over. The NVR is one year old.
