@reolink-fiona
Looking forward to see what new features will bd available in software update -
@reolink-fiona
I'm disappointed that my NVR, bought only a year ago, is still stuck on old v2 firmware
--the NVR reports:
Model: RLN16-410
hardware: H3MB02
Config version: v2.0.0.0
Firmware Version: v2.0.0.4725_1724_20120700
--the downloads page says:
Firmware Version v2.0.0.4725_1724
Updated Feb. 1, 2021

@reolink-fiona go pt user here. I live in an area with no internet available. I would love to see a system that would link multiple cams together and run thru 1 4G account instead of having to running multiple go pt 4g. I love my go pt but multiples can get expensive
Thanks for a great product

@reolink-fiona not sure if you already have this, but the ability to recognize and read license plate numbers would be great!!!
I love my outdoor 5x optical zoom Reolink camera. I get some great videos of deer and wild turkeys in our backyard. -
@reolink-fiona It would be cool to see the official integration in Home Assistant, and of course new devices
-
@rlsbf99_472873731580105 The technology and firmware needed to read license plates is expensive. There are dedicated license plate reader cams available if you want to spend hundreds or over a thousand dollars each. They are used at bank and government facilities, toll booths, etc. but none in the budget price range most homeowners want to spend. You just can't get Cadillac features at cheap car prices. I like my Reolink cams, great value IMO.
-
@homerspaint_484217047855263 you need a cheaper iot plan or setup a mesh with one 4g cpe router. If they are less then 30m apart, you could totally build a zigbee or ble mesh with an aggregate endpoint consisting of one large USB or sd storage on a router board with minipcie and sim slot allowing modem upgrades as cost, opportunity, and reliability allows. You could build it with openwrt if you weren't stuck on proprietary firmware. It's still possible but would require some unsupported hacking of the cameras. Reolink could utilize their iot IP and build that solution but their marketing and product roadmaps most likely wouldn't allow such shenanigans.
-
@mdunning_323765759099098 champagne tastes on a beer budget. Reolink, the miller high life of cameras.
-
@beuford318_472950590509208 Lift a bottle, cheers to Reolink, I'll drink to that!
-
@reolink-fiona
Very interested in any new cameras, especially for indoor (ala Aqara G3) and improved FPS for night vision. -
@rlsbf99_472873731580105 yes, but I have clients that ask for this and I would really love to stick with Reolink for all my camera needs.
-
@trrombley_104879498739842 I agree. Even though quality license plate reader cams are expensive, if Reolink made one, I'd buy it. Tell your clients such cams cost big bucks.

You want to be able to read licence plates on the deer and wild turkeys? -
@reolink-fiona New firmware, hope to get more flexible ftp possibilities. E.g. having the option to send images with the same filename all xx sec/mins to have an uptodate webcam image on my site.

@clive777_157426668191909 that is an interesting suggestion. Would a 4G PT Go do the job if you set it on a timer after usual hours? It has given me food fir thought though, thank you
-
@clive777_157426668191909 Hi Clive, we don't plan to design a camera specifically for a swimming pool. Anyway, we will make a note of it
-
@Reolink-Lorenz: What changes are made in the new firmware?
Thank you.Reply QuoteShare-1- Share this Post

@faasio82_480971996033257 We will publish a post on this firmware with all details on what's new on Jan. 20 (Thursday). Stay tuned!
-
Hope there will be a false positive button, so you can mark a false positive to make the ai algorithm even smarter.
Maybe also a negative mark button, when for example a person is in the video, but not detected by the camera. -
Rumors say there might be a doorbell as well? Heck that would be awesome if the price is right
But also an inner doorbell/gong then...
-
I hope that come new firmware with better fps in night time.
So fps dont going 50% down with night vision.
And better iframe settings so it can work fine with Blue Iris and there keyframe settings. -
hope new firmware... some love for C1 pro
-
Looking forward to seeing all the news
-
Ye do please
-
It may sound silly, but I requested a doorbell camera back in November of 2020. I'm super happy to see something come to the market and look forward to what Reolink offers!
-
BEST WEEK ever
-
Once I click on any of these dates nothing happens. Today is JANUARY 17 and all i get is a file that says open and then only
get another calendar.
what is wrong?
thanks an old user logged in. -
Nothing shown when I click and open download but another calendar. NOTHING WORKS WHEN I CLICK ON TODAYS DATE IN DOWNLOADED CALENDAR.
WHAT IS WRONG? -
My wishes for this week, new firmware for all devices, and free cameras to all....
-
I’m interested in all parts! In particular, 19th product roadmap (doorbell camera) and 20th, 21st software roadmap (rich notification with preview image). I’m excited
-
Where do we go to watch or participate.
-
Hoping for new firmware for the 823A with auto tracking both horizontal and vertical so the cam can follow someone walking underneath it. It's a great camera, I really like it!
-
With this being a new year, it would be nice to get some software that would make the programming of new Reolink equipment easier. Apparently an update must have come out and it messed up my NVR, so I have to go back through it step by step to correct the issue.
