Hi Stefan, please write to support@reolink.com regarding this issue. Our support would love to help you look into it~~
Hi, in this case, you need to use a long Ethernet cable to connect the camera to the router which may be placed in another room.No wifi entender can be applied in such a case if don't want it to go wireless.. You may contact us for charged replacement for a WiFi camera. Another workaround is powerline adapters, which can cost you more. But it would probably be a right choice for your home in the long run. Please give it a thought.Thank you for your support for Reolink.
Thanks for sharing.We are amazed!
Hi Mr.Kum,Would you please describe your problem in detail to support@reolink.com? Our support team will reply ASAP to help you resolve the issue
Dear Dave,Thanks for sharing. You can already achieve that, actually. Here are the steps:Step 1. Change your device name here:Step 2. Upgrade your camera firmware as per https://reolink.com/faq/upgrade-firmware-of-reolink-camera/After that, when you receive a email alert, you will see subject like "Motion Detection from Porch at 13/05/2017 14:40:56".Enjoy~!upgrade-firmware.jpgchange-device-name.jpg
Glad to hear it works.
Please go to the NVR, and go to menu >> Alarm >> Motion >> Action, and untick Buzzer. Click Apply to save settings.untick-buzzer.jpg
Hi, if you tick "Mask" checkbox, then you can use mask to cover some parts of the images for privacy purpose. For example, you wanna share the video with your friend, but some parts of the images are what you're reluctant to show. Then you can use the mask to achieve your purpose.
Thank you so much for sharing your brilliant ideas. They seems reasonable. They will be forwarded to our R&D team for analysis. It takes time to make them all happen. But we will be thrilled to see some of them become reality. With that, the cameras will certainly be more intelligent and more usable. Thanks again.Wish you a nice day.
Thanks so much for your suggestion. We will take your advice and realize it with update in the near future. Wish you a nice day.
Hi,If you choose "Normal", it will upload to your FTP station constantly and at the interval you set.If you choose "Motion", it will only upload to your FTP station when motion is detected by the camera. That's the difference.Thanks.
Hi, may I know which part of the software do you mean? Can you please enclose a screenshot for me to identify so we can better answer the question of yours? Thanks.
It's this page that I talked about:Thank you.Encode.jpg
Hi,It's the same resolution as you set in encode settings of the camera.Thanks.
Dear Mr. Kum,The configuration file is encrypted and cannot be unzipped and read in plain text.Thanks.
Hi, there is actually nothing wrong with your camera. Seems that you are located in some part in Asia and use PAL format. So the maximum framerate is a standard 25fps. If you are in U.S. and Canada, then you will be using NTSC format and reaches 30fps. See more info on this topic: https://www.sjbproductions.com/web_pages/tip_video/format_list.htm http://www.diffen.com/difference/NTSC_vs_PAL
Hello,This is new. Can you help us check a few things:1. The version of your Reolink Client.2. Was there anyone live viewing the camera when you are live viewing the camera?3. Were you live viewing the camera in Fluent, Balanced, or Clear mode? Which one?4. Were you accessing the camera on Reolink App in in Fluent, Balanced, or Clear mode? Which one?5. The issue you reported happens every time or you only met once?Thank you so much.
Working temperature for Reolink outdoor cameras: 14F – 131FIf the ambient temperature is the same or greater than normal body temperature, the camera will still work properly. But the detection distance may be shorter. And just as Quella said, high temperature will have effect on battery life. When the batteries are running low, you will be alerted by the App. You can purchase some rechargeable version of CR123A batteries to use. The battery power is the only option. No wire power is supported, my friend Thank you for your support for Reolink.
Dear SL,This is the first time that we heard from users that Reolink App "forgets" its stored camera(s) out of the blue. Could you recall anything special you did to incur this issue? In case the same problem happens again before we figure out a remedy, please save the UID to your phone memo. That way even the App forgets your camera again you are able to re-add it back anytime. Normally, you can log into the camera again after your community Internet outage recovers. If your router can not recover after that, there will still be no Internet for your home electronic devices, including your camera.
Hello Jay,I will forward your story to our R&D team and we would seriously look into it.
