You're having this problem because of the different working mode of Argus 2.See, the other cameras (RLC-41Xs) works with your method (VPN) as they connect based on IP address. While for Argus 2, or other battery-powered models, they don't use IP address login method. They use UID. That's why it's trying to access the Amazon AWS Server trying to establish P2P connection between your phone and your camera.
Kindly try our new version V7.2.2.20:https://home-cdn.reolink.us/files/client/Reolink-Client-Windows.zip
A POE splitter may work as it has the proper ratings with the mic. The PoE splitter takes input from a PoE switch/injector, not from a camera.
What about this model (https://reolink.com/product/rlc-410w/)?
@BradleyKindly drop us an Email asking Reolink Support for older firmwares. They will send the one to you asap.
Guys,Hate to let you down but the truth is this feature request didn't get approved. Partly because this is not a easy job to do.Can't say anything more except sorry. But we have many other new features realized. Cheers on that.
@ripdoCommonly, an external mic like this ought to be powered by its own power adapter.
Reolink Argus 2 or Argus Pro is not designed for 24/7 full capacity running or around-the-clock live streaming. It’sdesigned to record motion events and remotely view live streaming only when you need it.If you have the goal to have the Live View running continuously, it's advised to go for other non-battery models.
Yes, it is. As the recording file is too large in size if it is not split into sections. Large file means it takes long to upload. And it will time out if the upload process takes too long (now it is set to 60 sec).
Sorry, no update on this feature.
@dick-bednarThis feature request has been submitted now.Any thoughts on when a user has battery-powered cameras and several RLC-410 cameras on the App, then what the universal PIR ON/OFF switch will do to these non-battery camera models? Also, where on the App UI do you advise to put the universal PIR ON/OFF switch? Do you have any idea? The premise is not making the App UI look messed up. And those who don't have battery-powered cameras on his App will not hate it.
@AurelianoYou can format the SD card to empty all recordings via the App (so you dont have o remove the card physically from the camera). But it's not supported to delete selected files.
@AurelianoArgus 2 only supports two ways to access:By Reolink App and by Reolink Client.Web browser login is definitely, not supported. Sorry.
@AurelianoYou have some misunderstanding. The Record Schedule on the Client is not working for your camera model (Argus 2). That part is for other models that uses motion detection. However, Argus 2 uses PIR detection instead of motion detection. And Argus 2 added to the Client has only those basic functions availble, like live view and playback. Not all advanced options on the Client is for your camera model.
